Great game… Still play it almost every day after all these years. ### 2/5 — 2 lockups in 3 hours *2023-03-31, version 1.2.2* The physics look right, and the graphics are acceptable, but I can’t deal with the lockups. The one was caused by a disc landing on it’s edge. Also annoying is that you can’t unlock the next hole until you have shot par or better on the current hole. ### 4/5 — Great Controls *2022-04-05* I tried several disc golf apps including Disc Golf Valley, Disc Golf Rivals, Stickman and others. I really like the way they did the controls in this one. You pull back and then flick forward, which is how it should be. The game is a little glitchy. It freezes sometimes, especially while putting. The putting should be more forgiving. Sometimes you hit the chains and it still bounces out. Overall though this is my favorite disc golf game app. ### 4/5 — New to game *2020-09-30, version 1.2.2* I like how this is setup compared to others I have played. The one course I have played is very much like the real thing. Putting needs some help but realistic to the point of the chain outs but sometimes would like an option to loft it or shoot straight and hard. I would also like angles in putting or using a Scoober. Graphics needs some help. It shows logging in through the Game Center when launching the app. Please give us the ability to invite friends to play with us. I'm sure many fans of your app would gladly pay for the upgrade. I certainly wood. I used to think Unchained was the best disc golf game available. However the more I play Disc Golf Game the more it is winning me over. The flight characteristics are much more accurate physics IMHO. The only thing missing for me is Multiplayer. My brother is halfway around the world and multiplayer is our only way to play disc golf together. ### 4/5 — I love this game. *2020-02-03* So I have been playing this game for 2 years now . I think it matches physics better than any other disc golf game . I would love to see more courses and maybe a quicker way to get points throughout the game . So much fun, especially when I'm unable to go play real DG. I would LOVE to see some new courses added though! The last update with the new course was awesome and was a much-needed refresher. My only issue with this game is how out-of-bounds throws are scored. Instead of counting as 2 strokes (1 for the throw, 1 for the penalty stroke), they only count as 1. Also, when I throw OB, instead of having to re-throw from the same spot, I would like to be able to play from where I was last in-bounds. I spent a lot of time buying discs and upgrading, but my throws and putts are still incredibly inconsistent. Most of my throws don't go where I aim. I don't understand why you can adjust throwing angle and power but your throw may be different based on how you swiped. Swipe or throwing power/angle needs to guide your throw, not both. Also, the app needs a forehand option. If you get stuck behind a tree there is no way to throw around it. There's a lot of features like disc selection and disc angle on your throw but the game runs really bad half the time when you try to aim it throws it on accident. Also you can line up the shot how you want it but depending how you swipe your throw goes nowhere near your line. Lastly, the putting is terrible and it never goes where you aim. The way the disc glides is just like the real world and makes it very addicting to try and get the perfect shot! The large selection of discs is great, and the reward system seems just right. It’s not ridiculously hard, but you still have a sense of accomplishment! If the developer designs more courses, I will not hesitate to get them. The graphics are not spectacular, but they are good and there is no lag or long load times.
