PRAYER Prayer strengthens our relationship with God. Discipulus offers both audio guided prayer and self-guided prayer. Self-guided prayer is useful if you enjoy using a physical prayer book or another prayer app as it allows you to still complete and track your prayer within Discipulus. Other features included are background music, male and female voices, length of prayer time, and kind of prayer. You can choose between three prayer categories: meditative, devotional, and litanies. MORE THAN PRAYER Prayer is essential in our relationship with God, but it is not the only facet. Discipulus also includes new ways to engage in study, mission, virtue, and community. I’m so busy and often neglected my relationship with God, but this app has helped me consistently live the Catholic faith on a daily basis. I was gifted a subscription to this app and have loved it! The videos in the Study section are so good (and I’m a Theology major from FUS!). I always have takeaways and think of someone I can share them with to help deepen their faith! My husband and I are in the community and he helps me with accountability and motivation. I get to hear what God is saying to him in prayer and point out opportunities in our parenting on how a virtue he is working on is presenting itself! I’m finding I am challenged to get to a prayer life I truly desire and one the world needs because it’s changing me and my interactions with others in difficult situations. I’d highly recommend this app and have asked my Mom to gift a subscription to my siblings, so we can all journey together.
