## What is DiscIt?

DiscIt is the all-in-one disc golf companion, built for players who take their game seriously, whether you're chasing ratings or just having fun on the weekends.

YOUR DISC COLLECTION, ORGANIZED
Catalog your entire bag with photos, flight numbers, weight, condition, and notes. Organize discs into multiple bags, apply color-coded labels, and browse the built-in PDGA disc database to add new molds in seconds. Move or copy discs between bags with a long press, reorder your bags, and export your full collection to CSV anytime.

ROUNDS, LOGGED LIVE
Start a round and log it hole-by-hole as you play: shot type, disc, and a quick rating for how each throw actually went. Courses and layouts remember your pars and hole names, and you can rename, merge, or clean up your course list anytime without losing round history. Finish to a full scorecard with color-coded holes and a per-disc breakdown of how each throw graded out.

PRACTICE SESSIONS
Log putting sessions with make/miss tracking at multiple distances. Record throwing sessions with GPS-measured distances and disc ratings. See which discs you reach for most, how far each one flies, and how your distance trends over time.

STATS & DISC PERFORMANCE
Built-in statistics surface your scoring trends across rounds, putting accuracy, and throwing distance. Discs with enough logged throws get a performance score per shot type — putt, approach, and drive — showing how each one is actually performing against your own average, so you always know which discs earn their spot in the bag.

BACK UP TO ICLOUD
Back up your entire collection - discs, rounds, bags, and practice history - to iCloud, and restore it anytime.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 2.0.0 — 2026-08-06

Round logging has been rebuilt around how you actually play. Start a round, then log each hole live, by shot type, disc, and a quick Whack / Off / On / Nice rating per throw. Ghost rows suggest a scaffold from your layout's par so you're rarely starting from scratch, and every shot saves as you go. Finishing hands you a read-only scorecard with color-coded holes and a full per-disc breakdown of how each throw graded out.

New: disc performance scores. Any disc with enough logged throws gets a score per shot type (putt / approach / drive) showing how it's actually performing against your own average, discounted for small samples so a handful of lucky throws can't overstate a disc's case.

Courses and layouts are now fully manageable without ever losing your round history. Rename, merge duplicates, delete, and adjust hole counts as you need to. Bags got the same treatment: reorder them, and move or copy discs between bags with a long press, with a real distinction between "this disc lives in two bags" and "I own two of these".

The whole app has a new look. A floating glass tab bar you can tap or swipe between tabs, with cross-tab swiping - pull past the edge of one screen and land on the next. Native SF Symbols throughout, haptic feedback on key actions, subtle motion in round logging, and a refreshed accent-color system that stays out of the way of your actual scores. Dark mode got real attention: disc colors, chips, and buttons that used to wash out now hold up properly.

Practice tracking gained a per-disc distance chart alongside the existing by-type chart, so you can see exactly how far each disc is flying. Field-throw sessions can now record a Whack / Off / On / Nice rating per throw too, matching round logging.

You can now back up your entire collection (discs, rounds, bags, practice history) to iCloud and restore it on demand. CSV export has grown up as well: pull your full round history, a hole-by-hole shot log, or your practice sessions out to a spreadsheet whenever you want.
