### 4/5 — Videos and search history broken

*2026-08-28, version 3.21.0*

As mentioned by others can’t back out of videos to return to previous page. Also search history seems to be not working properly anymore after latest update. I’m using iPhone. Please fix.

### 2/5 — Was great but recently….

*2026-08-23, version 3.21.0*

Unable to back out of videos!!! Randomly started a week or so ago. So frustrating as I have to close the app completely, then re open, only to find all my settings have decided to revert to last added rather than label ascending like I usually have it. Does it every time.

### 3/5 — “functional”

*2026-08-23, version 3.21.0*

the app technically works, but is riddled with numerous frustratingly silly bugs that break certain functions and sometimes force you to have to restart the app. Issues with icons and buttons being hidden behind time and battery icons, infinite load screens, log in /log out glitches, the list genuinely goes on. not to mention the app is stripped of lots of important features from the web browser version and is therefore only useful for basic search and accessing your collection on the go. impossible to use efficiently for actually digging and making purchases without wanting to throw your phone across the room.

### 2/5 — Updated and downgraded

*2026-08-21, version 3.21.0*

Please add the search filters back from prior version - the new update is painful (MOST WANTED ETC)

### 2/5 — Sloppy design with bugs

*2026-08-21, version 3.21.0*

I use this app daily and it is so frustrating how little effort they put into UX and reliability. The latest bug is that you cannot exit the screen when you go to a release page and open a YouTube thumbnail, because the button to exit the screen is rendered in an unreachable corner of the iPhone screen. I tried updating everything, re-installing, and restarting the phone. No luck. The ultra common user flow of checking out a track on a release now turns the app useless. Sick

### 3/5 — Videos broken

*2026-08-19, version 3.21.0*

Just randomly over the last couple days I cannot now back out or close any videos I watch from the song links. I have to force close the app. Then go back in and start again after watching any video link. (iPhone 14 pro).

### 3/5 — Great App to Catalog Your Music Collection

*2026-08-19, version 3.21.0*

Just discovered this app as I’ve gotten back into CD’s recently. It works great for me but a couple of things could be better.

After scanning my first CD I discovered there can be many different versions. Some of the descriptions give you a differentiator, but that should be easier or more descriptive.

Why can’t I follow/save my favorite artists?? That’s all.

### 3/5 — Website 👍, App 🙄

*2026-08-18, version 3.21.0*

Unreal. I continually am prompted to log in and searching my collection is a joke. I get frequent search results telling me there is no such artist in my collection when I know good and well I have something by them.

### 2/5 — My god stop logging me out

*2026-08-13, version 3.21.0*

This could be a great app, but every few weeks it logs you out and it’s near on impossible to get back in. So frustrating

### 4/5 — Can’t update item in app.

*2026-08-13, version 3.21.0*

Latest update means I can’t scroll far enough down to get to the save button- possibly because I have extra user fields for items.. please fix!

### 1/5 — Videos don’t play on the app

*2026-08-11, version 3.0.20*

The videos no longer play on the app thereby making it pretty useless for finding music. Discogs support is also nowhere to be seen.

### 2/5 — App logs me out all the time

*2026-08-09, version 3.0.20*

Please fix this it’s so annoying and makes me not even want to use the app at all. I happens at least once a week it feels like.

### 1/5 — It’s just a vinyl collection app. Relax.

*2026-08-08, version 3.0.20*

Every single time I go to open this app on my phone it has logged me out and reset my password. I have to set a new password and go through 2 factor authentication every single time I try to use the app. Performative security nonsense. You would think this app holds nuclear codes the way they operate.

### 1/5 — Can’t register or log in

*2026-08-05, version 3.0.20*

Tried different emails , names etc and just says email already exists . Password change etc and nothing getting sent bk to my email address . Any of them!!
So frustrating!!

### 3/5 — Buggy

*2026-07-31, version 3.0.20*

So many bugs. Almost unusable but what else am I gonna use? Can’t tap any hyperlinks on any release pages.

### 1/5 — Appalling.

*2026-07-30, version 3.0.20*

It is absolutely shocking how an app as big and a company as old as discogs can create and host an app that is functionally useless. I have been on discogs for years. The UI sucks on the website and the app. Can’t leave reviews on pressings (can’t even type in the text box for that matter), can’t add things to watch list or collection, can’t contact sellers, can’t search for records, can’t search for specific pressings. The search bar has been close to useless for years anyway. I want to give this app a zero-point-zero.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work anymore

*2026-07-28, version 3.0.20*

Used to be a great app. Everything worked fine. Now it’s unusable garbage. Logs you out all the time. They made a complete mess of the seller portion of the app, making it nearly impossible to even scroll your own titles for sale. And now none of my messages will display. Supremely frustrating and disappointing. They should’ve just left it alone. The only way to even use Discogs anymore, is through a web browser. Sad.

### 1/5 — I could not in PayPal

*2026-07-26*

too bato pay in App , so let’s work out in PayPal.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Authenticator doesn’t work well

*2026-08-28, version 3.21.0*

I stopped purchasing from the website because the Authenticator does not allow me to go back on my phone and paste it anywhere. Time keeps running out and it just gets to a point where I’ll just go somewhere else and purchase or not purchase it at all.

### 1/5 — Fix the settings

*2026-08-25, version 3.21.0*

Every update is more frustrating than the previous one. Now I can’t save my settings preferences. I don’t want my collection and wantlist sorted by year. I sort by artist and save. Next time I open the app the settings are not saved, it’s back to being sorted by year. It’s a great app when it works, and it used to, but recently it’s like you’re trying really hard to make the most awful user experience possible.

### 1/5 — Poor customer service

*2026-08-23, version 3.21.0*

Don’t download this, you will take ages putting your collection into the library then suffer login issues. No matter how many times you contact for support you won’t receive any. Complete waste of time!!

### 1/5 — Go back to the old Discogs format.

*2026-08-22, version 3.21.0*

Stop messing with the format please I can’t stand it. I want to view my collection by artist not year or recently added. Everytime i change it to artist instead date added it instantly chances back. It’s frustrating.

### 1/5 — Wtf?

*2026-08-20, version 3.21.0*

What on earth have you done to the video player? The return to release details “tab” above the video has disappeared!

### 1/5 — Somehow they always find a way to make it worse

*2026-08-20, version 3.21.0*

They overextended the UI for video playback which means I can’t hit the X in the corner when I’m done which forces me to exit and restart the app in order to be done playing a video. They also made the collection and watchlist order by date added by default which wouldn’t be bad if my preferred settings weren’t always reset every time I open the app. I wish I could go back to the UI they had a couple years ago.

### 1/5 — can't log in on app

*2026-08-14, version 3.21.0*

locked out of the app. haven't done anything. clearly discogs don't want sales anywhere. your app can't search anything what's the point ? i've now removed it off my phone absolutely useless. you broke the app what's wrong with you people ?

### 1/5 — DON’T DOWNLOAD

*2026-08-13, version 3.21.0*

Just use the site. When I first downloaded the app in 2017, it was so awesome. Over the years with “growing development” it’s become less than user friendly than a rabid Bear. Awful. The idea of the app is great, but the execution is worse than the Star wars sequel trilogy. Use the site if you want to catalogue.

Update: the devs hate everyone who uses their app. The app, somehow, is worse.

### 1/5 — WTF

*2026-08-13, version 3.21.0*

Not sure what you did to your app, but it’s not working anymore, the pop up wants me to sign in, but there no place to do it.

### 1/5 — Just don’t even bother

*2026-08-12, version 3.21.0*

This app truly sucks. It logs me out every. single. time. And it “deactivates” my account if I don’t log in after, like, a month. Genuinely so irritating. Moving to Libibs because this is nuts.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-08-06, version 3.0.20*

This app is great! I use it for the cataloging, helps me keep everything in check!

### 5/5 — Better, but could use some small fixes

*2026-08-03, version 3.0.20*

I recently switched from Android, and the redesigned Discogs app is pretty much identical here.

My biggest gripe is not being able to tap on an artist and go to their page from a release, particularly on various artist compilations. You can just copy the text and search, which is an improvement from the Android version, but such a small fix would make a big difference in navigating the app.

Otherwise, it's great. It's finally almost on par with the website.

### 5/5 — Fix IPhone App Bugs!!!

*2026-07-24, version 3.0.20*

Many pages will not “go back” for example: In cart or on item page in cart, there is no back to main page. No arrow or “X” to tap, it doesn’t swipe away… you’re just stuck there. I’ve had to uninstall & reinstall just to get unstuck. Make sure all pages have exit button or directive of some kind. It’s ridiculous. iPhone 14 pro 18.6.2 should be able to handle any platform functions & your app is the only one w/ problems!

### 5/5 — Great app and ever-improving!

*2026-06-30, version 3.0.19*

I’ve been using the Discogs app for years and am compelled to submit a review. Rich with features, continual improvements, innovative features, ease of use, and so much more. Rarely experience errors or bugs, or a need for support. Makes my love of records complete. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Much better

*2026-06-01, version 3.0.16*

It did take me a little bit to get used to because of the old app, but it’s so much nicer now because it remembers what you search and it doesn’t bring up bootlegs and every other album it brings up the original releases first which makes it easier. It’s still a little wonky when you’re searching through the actual album. It is easier and more user-friendly I’m glad they updated it

### 5/5 — 👏

*2026-05-29, version 3.0.16*

Generally the Discogs app is really good and easy to use. I’ve managed to categorize all my records now, the value of the records is obviously quite confusing as it is such a huge gap between minimum and maximum.. the only slight issue you seem to experience on the mobile app is in the checkout section, if you end up clicking on the wrong record, it takes you right back to the top instead of where you were, still five stars just a shame It doesn’t seem to be half as smooth as if you access it on the desktop

### 5/5 — Age rating

*2026-05-24, version 3.0.16*

Amazing app but with the new uk laws myself and many others can’t access it due to its 18+ age rating. Please change the age restrictions to 16+🙏

### 5/5 — All good after updating

*2026-05-23, version 3.0.16*

Version 3.0.16 All working as expected
Thanks 😀

### 5/5 — We’re back!

*2026-05-23, version 3.0.16*

Thank you for the update, which seems to have solved the problem. It’s great to have the app back fully working. A big thumbs up to the developers.

### 5/5 — Thank you for fixing the app

*2026-05-22, version 3.0.16*

Works flawlessly now new update has solved l the issues I was experiencing thank you!
