Keeps giving an error message and says that it cannot locate stores in any area I select. You can’t update when you arrive, I’ve been at the location for 30 min and the app still says on my way. All my attempts shows appointments are not available in the next 7 days, which is not true, according to employees I have spoken with when I visit your stores in person. Now that I am visiting family in Virginia, I am in need of flat tire repair. As I am on your website and mobile app on Sunday, March 15, 2026, looking for Discount Tire stores near Suffolk, Virginia, no stores have appointments in the next 7 days except for one store that has one slot for March 16, 2026. Please have your website and mobile app support team to figure out why your appointment scheduling feature is flawed. ### 3/5 — Missing Items *2026-02-21, version 3.8.2* - needs a SETTINGS icon - needs PAST TRANSACTIONS for all vehicles for the lifetime - need CONTACT US, CUSTOMER SUPPORT - needs EDIT PROFILE - needs NOTIFICATIONS under settings - buying Tires, wheels, etc should be NATIVE TO THE APP, NOT directed to the website ### 1/5 — Ridiculous that this app even exists *2026-02-17, version 3.8.2* You can't modify an appointment. You can't see the historic of your purchases. If somebody sends you a quote online, they won't see the payment made and a double charge is possible. Rebates on a quote won't instantly apply, so check your total as you may overpay. This app is just a store and tire finder but in no way helps keeping a customer's profile up to date. That's how much this app needs to be improved ### 2/5 — Buggy, weak design *2025-11-30* The app frequently closes, resets, logs you out and does not save your cart or progress at any point. This makes shopping and comparisons infuriating. You can go through vehicle selection to tire comparison, hit the back arrow and the app will take you all the way back to vehicle selection and dump all of your progress. It’s a good thing they are better at tires than software… ### 2/5 — First time use inconvenience *2025-10-29* It auto updated time zone and caused me to drive over an hour to a closed store. Told me the store closed at seven when in reality closed at six. I saw the different time zone notification but did not realize it had already accounted for it. Without notification of it being accounted for I calculated driving time to arrive five minutes after 6 just at closing when I expected it to close at seven. Weakens my future faith in the app. ### 1/5 — Glitchy and hard to use *2025-10-24, version 3.8.2* The app looks good and their service at the shops is very good but this app is very frustratingly glitchy and keeps failing to update or synchronize with my services at the store I am currently using. SOMEONE PLEASE FIX THIS! There are so many issues it boggles the mind. First is the fact that the app only acts well as an appointment scheduler, but the process of shopping for products isn’t actually part of the app. The app seems to merely wrap around the website, and does a poor job of that. Second, attempting to manage the vehicles in your garage is an exercise in futility and frustration. You search for a car, add it to your garage - go back to your garage, it’s not there, and a the cherry on top is that it has been erased from your “recently searched” vehicles. Third, when I say I want to shop all of the tires, stop asking me questions and just put up the list of tires! It takes two or three more clicks for the app to finally relent and show me the list. I get it - Discount Tire spent a ton of development time and money on its “shopping assistance” capabilities so they’re trying to make it seem like people are using them. But we aren’t. Fourth, the app is buggy as all get out when displaying specific products. Sometimes it shows the information, sometimes it pukes partway through and gives you garbage. Fifth, I have nothing left in my shopping cart, but I keep getting emails saying I do! I waited until June 17th to see if they were available and on the app they said available at a store close by, so I through they would transfer the tires from the local store where they showed available. I purchased the tires through the discount tire app and scheduled to have them put on. When I went to have the tires installed, they told me they were still on pre release and were not available. Why would they sale me tires that are available. Not sure if the issue is with false information from the app or if it is a poor business practice of Discount tires. Evidently if the lug nuts weren’t so big it would have been cheaper however those same lug nuts are on Amazon at about $1.50 each. William did all the paperwork and answered all my questions . The tires were put on my car and I had a very smooth ride home.
