I’ve played it on multiple systems. Unfortunately the iOS version has a lot of performance issues. The biggest issue for me is micro stutters. Even on low settings on an iPad Pro m4, the game just stutters randomly. Unless this is the only way you can play it, I’d say skip it and get it on a console or pc. ### 4/5 — Controls…. *2026-08-22* As previous comment from another.. I also second notion that controls could be improved greatly. I was playing the trial to see if I would like to purchase. I have no issues purchasing a game if I enjoy playing it and it’s a solid game. I appreciate the opportunity to try before I buy as I really want to play for a couple hours to see if it’s something I want to purchase. I’m not sure if the trial version is the issue or if I’m not suppose to be able to save past a certain point but I have completed the store grand opening/ first day 3 times and when I load the game it defaults back to me walking around town and hanging posters before the grand opening. I want to play a bit past the first day to get a better understanding of normal game play but it’s frustrating to replay the tutorial quest over and over so I’m not going to move forward with purchasing right now. I adore the concept of the game. It reminds me of stardew valley without the farming and instead you run a business while also being more story driven - Which I love!!! It seems like alot of thought was put into everything. There are tons of other parts of the game to explore, interact with and entire town open to you! Very unique and cute game. I have no doubt I’ll come back to it when the developers work out the bugs and cloud saving issues. A few other minor issues I’ll mention is that the picking up and placing item mechanics are a little difficult to use. And all gays will bay a full version ### 4/5 — Bugs *2026-08-20* Cute game, but I’m having trouble with cloud saves (for instance, I downloaded and tried playing on my iPad and it showed no saved games. So I started a new one, which somehow overwrote the saved one I had on my iPhone?! I went from a couple weeks into the game to 2 days 😑) Also I frequently have to restart days because if I get interrupted during a game day it reloads the app when I turn my phone back on to play, which starts the day over. ### 4/5 — Apple Pencil friendly *2026-08-20* Loving the game only thing I would like for it to Apple Pencil compatible like using the pencil to pick things up, you can use it to move around with the controller, but that’s it like you can’t click on dialogue so I would love for that to be fixed ### 4/5 — Overall great game, but the controls for mobile aren’t ideal *2026-08-19* I was so excited to get this game when I saw it was coming out for mobile. I haven’t found a game I’ve been really engaged with in the mobile format since Stardew Valley. I like the idea and game, however I find the controls don’t work well for a tablet. It would be nice to have the option to move the joystick to the right side of the screen or to have a different mechanic for movement as it’s tricky to use and fatiguing. I also noted that when at the cash in the shop you aren’t able to see your conveyor belt or other parts of the screen so it’s tough to actually check out customers efficiently without memorizing what multiple are buying at once. Anyways, love the idea and enjoying the game but these are the things that may deter me from buying the full version or playing long term. **Developer response:** Hi, a new update is coming where you are able to move the joystick to the right side. It’s got soo many events! I’ve noticed a few bugs that need fixing and I can’t report it directly so this is my only option, I cannot change my character name when I go to the mirror in game. I hit confirm but it always defaults back to “shopkeeper”. I also noticed that the price cheat sheet re opens to the 2nd or 3rd page by default instead of the first page like most would assume it would default to. It’s pretty annoying early game to have to constantly go back the pg 1 after closing and reopening the price list. So far it’s just as nice as the PC version except for these 2 little issues I’ve noticed so far. Hopefully this’ll get fixed soon and I can revise my rating to a 5 star instead of the 2 stars I’m giving now. **Developer response:** Hey! A new update is coming soon. It’s reminiscent of Stardew Valley. I took off one star because my first play through glitched; I couldn’t leave the shop and I wasn’t able to access the delivery for inventory stocking. I deleted the save then restarted. At some point during game play, my name changed to “Shopkeeper”, and despite being able to type the name in again at the mirror, it doesn’t save. While taking care of customers, the inventory menu blocks customer items even with the menu closed. The menu also flips pages when I open the menu from being closed. That said, the world is really nice to look at, and I’m hoping some of these issues are addressed. **Developer response:** Hey, We are working on a new update. Discounty est un super jeu à mi-chemin entre la simulation (la gestion du supermarché étant le coeur du jeu, qui reste très accessible néanmoins) et le RPG, avec beaucoup de petites quêtes annexes en parallèle de l’aventure principale, aventure qui est assez amusante pour donner envie de poursuivre. Unfortunately I cannot get past the tutorial of buying the items for the store on the computer. It will not read any purchases as a completed task, so I am stuck in the store and cannot move forward in the game. Also - the controls are awful, we should really just be able to tap on the screen to go where we want like in Stardew. The joystick is so irritating and it’s on the wrong side. Putting it on the right side will not solve the problem. Please get rid of it all together. I’d like a refund if you can’t fix the glitch that has me stuck in the tutorial. The price is steep for an app game, but if you're looking to become engrossed in small-town vibes and mysteries, this can be overlooked. It should be noted, this mobile version of the game includes the DLC expansion released on the PC version! (+hours of stories and events) Some complaints: my custom name reset after looking in the mirror and was unchangeable from Shopkeeper. The “checkout” screen blocks nearly the entire view of the store so you can't keep an eye on what needs restocking. The story intrigues me and the running the supermarket is very enjoyable too. My only criticism is that when you go to the mirror to adjust your appearance it resets your name to Shopkeeper and you can’t change it back.
