## What is DiscoverEU Travel App?

The DiscoverEU Travel App is the official app for participants in the DiscoverEU program. DiscoverEU is an initiative of Erasmus+ that gives 18-year-olds the opportunity to discover Europe through learning experiences. Travelling predominantly by rail, you will discover Europe’s stunning landscapes and its variety of cities and towns. You can use this app if you have an DiscoverEU account. 

The App makes your trip smooth and stress-free, whether you’re boarding your next train at the station or planning your next trip from the comfort of your own home.
Here’s what you can do:

Search for train times with our Planner
• Search for connections across Europe, even when you're offline. When you are online, you’ll see live information such as disruptions, delays, cancellations, or platform changes for some of the railways included in your Pass.

Check Stations for arrivals and departures
• See which trains are scheduled to depart from or arrive at your chosen station in Europe.

Plan your dream routes and track all your journeys in My Trip
• View your day-by-day itinerary, get statistics for your trip, see your whole route on the map or share your journey with your friends! 

Travel with ease with your mobile Pass
• Add your journey to your Pass and show your day ticket in My Pass to breeze through ticket inspection.

Book seat reservations for your trip
• Go online to make reservations for trains across Europe and guarantee your seat on busy routes.

Save money with extra benefits and discounts
• Search by country and discover numerous discounts with your EYCA card.

Get inspired
• Find inspiration for your next journey by checking our travel guides or asking the DiscoverEU community.

Grundsätzlich reicht die App zum Reisen aus. Aber, wenn z.B. mein Ticket kontrolliert wird, spinnt die App und springt von Tab zu Tab. Außerdem muss man fast jede Route nochmal selber nachschauen, damit die Uhrzeiten etc. stimmen

Par pitié faites que l’UE permette d’utiliser l’application officielle d’Interrail même dans le cadre de Discover EU. On est obligé d’aller sur leur site pour réserver les sièges, mais on doit obligatoirement supporter cette app mal faite pour tout le reste ! Trajets supprimés sans le moindre avertissement, pareil pour les changements d’horaire…

Stand Mitten in Italien am
Bahnhof und die App macht ein Update und man konnte sich nicht mehr einloggen, hatte keine Fahrkarte mehr. Man kann auch keinen Support anrufen oder sonst was. Nie wieder!

Grundlegend sind die Funktionen der App sinnvoll und ausreichend. Leider ist sie aber extrem unzuverlässig, da sie dauernd abstürzt oder grundlos den Benutzer ausloggt. Hier muss dringend nachgebessert werden, weil man sich als Reisender bei Kontrollen auf die App verlassen muss. Im Moment ist es leider nicht sehr empfehlenswert, sich nur auf das Ticket in der App zu verlassen.

Leider zeigt die App nur Fahrpläne in naher Zukunft an, obwohl ich die neuste Version besitze. Um eine Reise mit Unterkünften zu moderaten Preisen planen zu können, ist jedoch frühzeitiges Buchen nötig. Ich bitte Sie, die Fahrpläne längerfristig zu aktualisieren, da die Züge in bei den einzelnen Bahbunternehmen schon feststehen.
