In Waterland you will find countless special stories. With the DiscoverWaterland app, we try to share some of these stories. Did you know, for example, that one of the people painted in The Night Watch lived in a castle in Ilpendam?

Come along on a journey of discovery through the picturesque villages. With our handy app, you can not only read stories but also listen to them. Convenient if you want to look around you. The stories are written by local people and contain tales from word-of-mouth combined with stories based on the archives. In this way, we try to bring Waterland to life as much as possible.
