## What is Discovery Checkin?

Discovery App is the student side of Discovery Check-In, a wellbeing check-in tool used by schools and youth programs.

Students open the app, enter the code their school gave them, and answer one simple question: how are you doing today? They pick great, okay, or not good, choose the feelings that fit, and can add a short note or ask a trusted adult for support. The whole check-in takes under a minute.

WHAT STUDENTS SEE
• A friendly check-in that adapts for elementary and secondary students
• A daily question of the day, with a class-wide tally when the teacher turns it on
• Their own check-in history and streak
• A Safe Spot button to reach a trusted adult right away
• Optional reminders so a check-in is never missed

WHAT SCHOOLS GET
Staff see check-ins on the Discovery Check-In dashboard, spot students who need a conversation, and respond quickly when a student asks for help. Serious responses alert designated staff immediately.

BUILT FOR SCHOOLS
• No student accounts, emails, or passwords. Login is a code from the school.
• Check-ins are visible only to authorized staff at the student's school or program.
• No ads, no data sales, no third-party tracking.
• Designed to operate under the school's authorization, consistent with COPPA and FERPA.

Discovery App only works with a code from a participating school or program. Schools can learn more and sign up at discoverycheckin.app.
