Does exactly what it says it does. Simple, clean UI, well optimized for iOS, and make solving some network issues so much easier. All the details you need are available, but not cluttered or complicated in any way. So nice.

I can't say enough for this awesome little tool. I have found nothing like it. Trying to debug all the stupid "just works" bits about my house and this is the only tool that lets me look under the covers. Wish there was some documentation, but it does what it says with a minimum of fuss.

I didn't realise my phone wifi was off so upon opening the app it said it would search local instead. Now I have both internet gateways open and still nothing is being picked up. Also there're no options or even a menu to supply information. Stupid.

Great app that helped me browse the Bonjour local domain, and solve a nagging Apple TV problem in less than an Hour.  The Apple TV problem had haunted me for months.  Now, I've turned my findings over to Apple Support and they can get the engineers looking for a solution.

However, I ran into a couple of bugs while using the app.  Sent them to the developer, and when they are solved, I'll be up-rating my review.

Recently doing some debugging on my home network and found this app to be quite helpful. I'm quite comfortable with the shell, and did some debugging on my Mac, but only the phone (and iPad, but see below) had the problem I was troubleshooting so I needed to work there. The app does exactly what it says. It works well. It's got a minimal UI that uses default iOS controls but that's all it needs--anything else would be overwrought.

The only thing that's missing is I'd love to have a proper iPad version. It doesn't need to be anything special, all it needs is an iPad-size UI. The stock iPhone app scaling is pretty unpleasant to use, especially in landscape--I've got an iPad Pro with a keyboard attached all the time, so I never use it in portrait.

All that said, though, to reiterate, this is a great app on the iPhone which makes troubleshooting Bonjour stuff a lot easier than it would be otherwise!

Currently this only searches top level services like _ipp._tcp but does not show subgroups like _universal._sub._ipp._tcp. That subgroup is particularily interesting as it is used by iOS to actually find printers for AirPrint, so a printer showing up in _ipp._tcp might not necessarily show up in the printer dialog.

I develop an iOS app that uses DNS-SD, so it’s not uncommon I want to check if my phone can see the host I’m looking for. I’ve been using this app for a year or so now to do these checks and I just love it. Thanks for the great tool.

After hours of troubleshooting why my home’s Thread network wasn’t working, this app told me what device was preventing it from resetting (it was a Roku). As long as you know what you’re looking for, this app is stupidly easy to figure out what’s going on with your network. Forever thankful for the Redditor that sent me here, I might actually learn how to read this now.
