And yes, I do have the latest IOS version. ### 1/5 — Crashes after auth *2025-11-20, version 2025.11.10* Do Discovery not test their own app? Latest version released a week ago, and after authentication with username / password it crashes. Restart -> asks to enable Face ID -> crashes. iPhone 17 Pro with the latest version of iOS. It’s badly written and poorly maintained. The Discovery Banking app allows you to log in directly in the app, while this one redirects to a website. There are several dead links, such as point events in Vitality. Often fails to update workouts for Vitality points. ### 1/5 — Can’t login *2025-09-03, version 2025.08.20* It’s been 3 months of terrible login experience. Given what I pay for all my insurance , I can’t believe this is still an issue. I would actually leave Discovery. ### 1/5 — F’ng Useless *2025-08-27, version 2025.08.20* Discovery are the administrator for my medical aid. The app is promoted on the company page for medical aid. I have offloaded the app, deleted the app and then dowloaded it again multiple times and it would work for a couple of logins and then slow down to a halt. Latest version app but it is terrible, especially if you need to sync your workouts regularly. Banking app works like normal but we need to open this app to sync workouts. In recent times it delinked my device (Apple Watch) and subsequently lost data for that week. Have to manually update my exercise as it doesn’t appear to sync automatically anymore. Also crashes on a relatively regular basis. Fyi I’m using an iPhone 16pro ### 1/5 — App Integration is not great at all. *2024-10-12* The integration between the medical aid app and the banking app is not great at all. Why move active rewards to a banking app. Reward shows on the medical app but cannot claim as it’s not visible on the banking app. Turn around time to solve the issue is another 3 - 5 days. I’m now totally screwed. Discovery instead of having multiple apps that are not functioning properly, please just fix one and have it sync the data. You recently added sleep data but that is not syncing as well. And before you tell me that I need to link my devices, sleep and active data was syncing and then stopped. It's ridiculous honestly. Really disappointed. This used to work. Regard, Ms C ### 1/5 — Up to 5 minutes to load latest version *2026-05-13* I have got used to Discovery Apps (Bank, Health, Insure etc) working flawlessly, but the latest version of this App just doesn’t load quickly and often not at all. I am running iOS 26.5 on an iPhone 15 Pro Max with a 200Mbs WiFi connection and this is simply ridiculous! **Developer response:** Hi Cwjsykes, we sincerely apologize for our app not loading. I pay a premium for a service that is well below par for a company of their size. Do better and invest some money in some logical thinking. This happened on the previous update too, so it seems as if the development team is not doing sufficient preflight testing before releasing updates.
