## What is Discussion CZ?

Discussion is a private chat app for you and your friends, focused on privacy and immediacy.

REAL-TIME CHAT
• 1:1 messages and group conversations with delivery receipts (sent / delivered / read) and emoji reactions
• Create a group and chat, call, video call or play games with the whole group at once
• Send photos, videos, voice messages and files (attachments have a limited lifetime)
• Quoted replies, message editing and forwarding, text formatting
• "Typing…" indicator and a green dot next to friends who are online

### 1.41 — 2026-09-10

Automatic message translation: in a chat (including groups) turn it on from the ⋯ menu in the header – every recipient then sees messages in their own language, and you in yours. Translations are paid by whoever turns them on, from credits beyond the free weekly allowance. The conversation header now has a single ⋯ button with a menu (video call, call, game, group details, translation). AI features (magic pencil, avatar, translation) use unified credits.

Save chat photos and videos to Photos. Terms of Use and Privacy Policy in the app language. Permission prompts in the phone language. Minor fixes.

Your custom contact names now also appear in games – player name tags on the boards, match headers, the lobby, co-player selection and the list of played games.

Report objectionable content in the app: a chat message from its context menu, a profile from the button on the profile. You can now also block a user – their content is hidden instantly, your friendship is removed and they cannot message you, call you or invite you to games. The Terms of Use are now shown before signing in. We act on reports within 24 hours. Also fixed a call that had actually taken place being logged as a missed call.

### 1.34 — 2026-09-03

Smoother video calls on mobile data: new video frame assembly resilient to reordered and lost packets. Pub quiz: 20 new questions in every category, including current music. Stability: safeguard against repeated restarts after the app is killed by the system.
