I keep receiving a Loading issue error message. The 2 suggested things to do to resolve the issue do not work! If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. It looks like the latest update was forced on my iPad. Sure enough, they broke fast forward on recordings again. I was watching a recording last night. It got confused and went back to the beginning. Turns out that you can no longer slide to a specific spot. It always sends you back to the begging. Old guide you could view 10-15 shows per page, now 3 or 4 . Guide loads painfully slowly. You scroll and nothing populates for 5 “. Old version loaded instantly. They’ve expanded flagging live sports, but finding “on now” non-live sports (like last night’s nfl games or a NASCAR re-air) is difficult. One step forward, two steps back. I especially appreciate the guide so that I can see what’s on, read the description of the show or movie and then look ahead in the night to see what’s on later. This latest upgrade has two very disappointing features. 1. The font is so large that I can only see one show at a time. Was it necessary to make the boxes and titles so large that it is now cumbersome to read and scroll? 2. I can no longer read a description of a show or movie currently on. If I tap on a show that’s currently playing, it takes me right to the show instead of giving me the option to read about it and then choose to watch. So the show automatically starts streaming, there’s no description and because the box and font are SO BIG, I sometimes don’t even know the full title. I appreciate that you’re always trying to improve, but someone needs to look at aesthetics and usability and not just what’s new and BIG. ### 2/5 — New format sucks *2026-08-27, version 26.0821.7* The new format for iPad is horrible. It hardly gives you any information about the show. The layout is too bulky. Takes a long time to load guide. Overall it sucks. With the recent update update to the app the DVR no longer works. I used every suggestion from dish support to resolve the problem. However, nothing worked. Finally, I did a chat with a dish representative. That was when I found out what I suspected all along.
