## What is Dish Duel?

Can't decide where to eat? Dish Duel turns the nightly "what should we get for dinner" debate into a fast, playful bracket. Two restaurants
face off, you tap the winner, and the champion squares up against the next challenger — until one survivor is left standing on your home
  screen, ready to navigate to.

Whether you're feeding a stubborn date, a hungry family, or just yourself after a long day, Dish Duel replaces endless scrolling and
indecision with a quick tap-to-pick session. Every restaurant in the bracket is real, open right now, and actually near you — pulled live
from the same map data your navigation app uses.

  HOW IT WORKS
  1. Drop a pin anywhere on the map and pick how far you're willing to travel
  2. Choose your cravings — pizza, tacos, sushi, or add your own custom terms
  3. Filter by price and drive-thru availability
  4. Set your number of rounds and start tapping through head-to-head duels
  5. Crown a winner and tap to open directions

  FEATURES
  • Real restaurants from live map data — not a static list
  • Head-to-head bracket format that makes decisions feel effortless
  • Adjustable search radius from half a mile to citywide
  • Multi-tag food category filters plus custom search terms
  • Price filters from $ to $$$$
  • Drive-thru, dine-in, and takeout-aware results
  • Respects operating hours — only suggests places open right now
  • Offline-friendly map tiles that cache as you explore
  • Dark theme built for late-night hunger
  • No accounts, no sign-ups, no tracking — open and play

  WHEN TO USE IT
  • Date night with someone who says "I don't know, you pick"
  • Family dinners where nobody can agree
  • Road trips with a narrow lunch window
  • Friday night groups where half the chat is still choosing
  • Solo hunger when your usual spots all sound boring

Dish Duel isn't trying to be Yelp. It's a decision engine — built to end the debate in under a minute so you can actually eat. No reviews to
read, no endless lists to scroll, no social feed to distract you. Just a bracket, a winner, and directions to the door.

  Hungry? Start a battle

Great idea to help decide where to eat. Whether indecision or trying something new. Easy interface, simple search features. Got a kick out of the back and forth duel for where to go. Quick and Easy, unlike how long it normally takes to figure out where to eat. I’d recommend to anyone to try this out.
