## What is Dish It?

Four stars on a restaurant tells you to go. It doesn't tell you what to order when you get there.

Dish It rates the dish, not the place. You save the one plate that was actually good — at that restaurant, on that visit — so next time you order the right thing.

PHOTOGRAPH THE MENU
Point your camera at a menu and every item, description and price is read in for you, kept in the menu's own sections and order. No typing.

THREE VERDICTS, NEVER BLENDED
Every dish shows what you thought, what your friends thought, and what everyone thought — side by side. A dish your friends love and strangers dislike is a different thing from a middling dish, and one averaged number hides that.

WRITTEN AT THE TABLE
A note you write while you're actually in the restaurant is marked Verified. Writing from home works exactly the same and counts exactly the same — it just doesn't carry the badge. Your location is never stored.

RATE IT TWICE
Great in June, disappointing in July. Both are true and both are kept. Averages count each person once, using their most recent note.

NO ACCOUNT
No email. No password. No sign-in. You pick a username on first launch and that's it. It lives in your keychain, so deleting the app doesn't lose you.

FOLLOW WHOEVER YOU LIKE
Following is one-way. Follow the friend whose taste you trust; they don't have to follow you back.

Free. No ads, no tracking, nothing sold.
