Somewhere around an hour I have to log back in and resume what I want to listen to. I have installed and use the app on my Ipad 5, as designed. The problem I have is that when I close the app, my Dish Hopper freezes the TV. The menu system still works, but the screen is frozen with the last station I was watching. I have to reset the Hopper to continue. This is a major issue and I don’t know if it is the app or my Hopper or my Hopper is to old to use the app. ### 1/5 — Crashes constantly *2019-12-13* This app crashes all the time. I restart the app and start music and then it just crashes again. I miss the Pandora app Dish use to utilize. ### 1/5 — READ The Privacy policy *2019-10-20* The ad for dish music popped up in my guide while watching tv. Sounded good, says it’s free, I’ll check it out. Downloaded the app and opened, and it goes right to the privacy policy agreement. I tend to read privacy policies to see exactly how much info they will take if I agree. DO YOURSELF A SOLID......READ the personal information the collect before you just agree. Since it is free, you provide no payment information. But if you agree, you give the app permission to collect sensitive, personal, private information. It doesn’t stop there, but just read before granting permission to give up information on everything you use on your phone. **Developer response:** In terms of information, the app only has access to what the system allows, which you can see what permissions we take in the iOS settings. Information that's collected is mostly usage statistics that most music services require for revenue reporting. No personally identifiable information is collected. It's good to be wary of free services, and we'd urge everyone to fully ready all of our T&C's and privacy policies, but DTS's revenue is not based on a model of collecting and selling your information. Partners, such as Dish, license the DTS technology to integrate into their systems for a fee based on agreed upon terms. ### 1/5 — Confusing *2019-07-27, version 4.84.181121* This literally makes no sense. You can even send it to all of your dish receivers to play music throughout your house in perfect sync. This is not a music app such as amazon music. It is to stream music from those apps to your tv. Turned it on and downloaded the app, it streams perfectly from our TV. At least for the last 30 minutes. I love this app. This thing does everything I wanted. I played and controlled my Family Room 'speakers' and was able to get to my Sirius XM stations, my extensive Apple Music collection with all of my playlists; my Amazon music and all of my playlists; all of my music on my various DLNA servers!!!! Since my Hopper is wired through my Denon receiver, the sound is fantastic.
