Now it forgot who I am, and reset my app, or it does not open, or crashes. Haven’t been using the app as much due to recent Disney movies. This app use to be the link for Disney movies, showing extra content to get excited for the stories told in the movies. I use to pop in and check upcoming releases, but the new movies have nothing I want to go to the theater for. Now the app is broken? Want to see a reward by value? Start scrolling - sorting by high to low or low to high shows zero results. Doesn’t work on my iPhone SE (claims app is compatible) or iPad (not compatible). Computers have been used for sorting data for 60 years - is it really that difficult to get this working on iOS? Any other company that sends me emails will have the links open in their app that I have installed. In this app it opens in a web page which I then have to log into to receive my points, etc.. This seems like an easy fix that they are ignoring. They fixed it for a short time but it’s broken again. Inside the app if you want to redeem points and choose one of the category filters you get zero results. Also, Disney, change up your rewards more frequently. The majority of the movies for instance have been in the rewards for years. I’d love to redeem my points but not for movies I already have or some of the other sad choices of movies or rewards. Throw a more current movie in once in a while. Otherwise it’s more like torture than rewards. Disney’s not making it easy to be a Disney insider. Developer, please don’t respond with your email address asking me to contact you about the problem. Frankly, I see the issues described in this review in about a hundred reviews going back at least two years with the exact same developer response and the problem is never solved. I and the other people reviewing this app have clearly explained what needs to be fixed and we don’t need the same excuse response that gives the impression you want to fix the problems when you clearly have ignored them for years. I’m annoyed by constant pop ups to use this instead of what I want to use. I’m blocked from some rewards unless K use this app. Then this app opens a browser and makes me log in every time for half the stuff I want to do anyway. ### 3/5 — I was happy with this app *2023-02-08, version 1.5.6* I was happy with this app, but for some reason now it doesn’t want to open once you hit to check the rewards for each movie. Well, just making constructive criticism . Points n rewards history not showing up . States “error loading data”. And I’ve heard it’s been happening to other people’s phones as well. It’s starting to get annoying and sometimes I just don’t use the app because of that problem. ### 2/5 — Glitchy *2022-09-10, version 1.5.4* I love the Insiders app, there are just many issues. It constantly logs me out, and then resets to where I’m outside the USA. Every day. It also doesn’t load properly, there were over 400 points the app was noticing but the website was. ### 3/5 — Better than the old system *2022-07-15, version 1.5.2* This is better than the old movie rewards. As a customer without reliable internet for years, lost an amazing amount of points because I didn’t log in enough….. ### 2/5 — Ok for now *2022-06-15, version 1.5.1* This app was great, then it updated and has become unusable. I was having to log in on my web browser on my phone. But I deleted the app and reinstalled it. All seems to working ok for now. I’m not completely sold yet. But when an app updates, the customer shouldn’t have to delete & reinstall it to get it to work again. ### 2/5 — My points are not adding *2022-02-10, version 1.4.18* I am not very happy with Disney insiders at the moment. I typed in a bunch of codes and they all said success but only two of them added their points to my account and point history. Please fix whatever bug this is as soon as possible. Clicking the prompt to link my Disney+ account, it just keeps loading. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. I also wish there were longer time limits after seeing a movie. App tells me repeatedly that it can only be used in the US and I need to adjust my location settings. Then when the settings load, guess what? United States is already applied! What a complete piece of garbage. So sad to see such a terrible product with the Disney name… ### 1/5 — Disappointed Disney owns this *2022-07-08, version 1.5.2* Content in the app is lacking. Where is the insider info?? Nothing new? No joke, an average YouTuber will give you more insider info than this app. Points are given when you make movie purchases. Not many so it will take time to bank up before you can cash them out for a prize. Prizes are terrible mostly Blu-ray’s, dvds, and movie posters. The prizes are mostly items you can buy from any retailer for less than $30. So nothing unique really. Their charges for shipping these prizes you claim are high too. The only prizes that really sell are the gift cards. Free money is free money I guess. The value is not much. The big selling point is the gift cards is that they look like the ones you can get from the parks with certain characters or franchise logos besides the normal Mickey ones you see everywhere. I thought maybe my phone was too old. I got a new phone and like so many others recently reviewed, still nothings works. It wouldn’t accept my movie tickets for the past 4 movies I’ve seen in theaters. Now nothing will load and can’t even get my monthly newsletter points. Basically pointless now. ### 1/5 — A Piece of Junk *2022-06-23, version 1.5.2* I off-loaded the app a few months ago from my iPad Air2 since it wasn't loading my newsletter points. This allowed the newsletter points link to send me to the web site instead, which works fine. I decided to give the latest version a try assuming you must have fixed this issue by now and, low and behold, it is even worse! Now only the Home tab works. So I off-loaded it again so that I can use the web site for the newsletter points. Do you guys bother to test apps before publishing them? Doesn't look like it. All I get on those parts of the app are the spinning wheel of death. The home page is fine and my profile page is fine…play, earn, redeem and movies are all spinning wheels of death. Also the old reward system was easier to use, but now it’s annoying and worthless. They also haven’t updated rewards in a few years. When I open the app, none of the tabs work except the HOME Screen. The PLAY, EARN, REDEEM and MOVIES tabs just change color but nothing loads so really can’t do anything. I wait to see if it’s just loading slow but nothing ever happens. Then when I try to just go onto their website in a browser, it just redirects me to the app.. that doesn’t work. I deleted the app and reinstalled the app multiple times but the same issue occurs. They definitely need to fix this issue. Fails every time. No points. Loaded a picture of my Dr Strange tickets. Never saw the points. Tried to enter any of the various codes for points - I get an error message every time. Honestly not sure what the point of this app is. ### 1/5 — App crashes when filtering search results. *2021-11-05, version 1.4.16* I used to be able to use credits to get BluRays and current movies, but it seems like everything is now either a digital poster or some sort of subscription. Hats, movies, books, all sorts of stuff. And it’s not crappy stuff. The quality is pretty high. I get free bonus points thrown at me for Holidays and movie primers in the way of Codes and when I actually do earn reward codes it’s always because I streamed or went to watch a movie I was gonna see anyway, so win win.
