### 4/5 — Good

*2026-07-23, version 2.2.1*

Very good but please add a DAS option

### 4/5 — Still good, Use to be better

*2026-03-28, version 2.2.1*

Still a very accurate way to plan your Disney vacation, however they took away a crucial piece of data…the “How we did” stats reflecting the accuracy of the previous day. Wish they would bring that back.

### 3/5 — Very helpful app

*2025-09-26, version 2.1.12*

I used the app on our last Disney trip and it worked like a charm. I really like that you can set it to minimize walking, wait times, or balance the two. It was just a really convenient way to plan out each day in advance and it helped us get everything done that we wanted to without a bunch of backtracking and wasting time deciding what to do next.

Planning another trip in a couple of months and will definitely be using the app again.

Update 9/26/2025: Just finished another trip to Disneyworld using the app. Lines remains a useful tool for laying out a plan, but when 4 out of the first 6 rides you have planned are broken down, everything kind of goes out the window for the rest of the day. Wait times on the app are generally very close to what I saw posted, but the app does NOT let you know of the ride is closed. Before you head all the way across the park definitely check the Disney app for that info.

### 2/5 — Not as good as it used to be

*2025-08-16, version 2.1.12*

I have used this app for years. It was a useful tool in planning my vacations. I just renewed and wish I hadn’t. The app is clunky, saves incorrect information (like start date and end date of vacation), gives option to attend parties but then freezes up and does nothing with that info. I get the feeling that no one cares behind the curtain anymore. This used to be a fun app with almost a cult following. Do not recommend and won’t renew again unless issues are addressed. 2 stars because it has been the most reliable crowd predictor. We shall see.

### 3/5 — Lots of planning info, not enough user participation

*2025-02-21, version 2.0.24*

I used this app years and ago and it was so helpful. Not only was it filled with good planning information, but it was extremely dynamic with user participation, giving real-time knowledge about accurate wait times within the parks. So after a 4-5 year break, I decided to try it again. Unfortunately, the app just doesn't have enough user participation to make it as good as it once was. The price of the app has gone up significantly too, so maybe that's why fewer people are utilizing Lines. It makes me sad because the app really was amazing before. The newer version is easy to use and still filled with lots of good info and park plans (which can be extremely helpful for WDW first timers or people who love having a plan.) However, I miss the real time crowd level monitors and participating with lots of other users to find the lowest wait times at WDW. Maybe if they lowered the price more people would come back and make Lines as awesome as it once was!

### 2/5 — Inaccurate

*2025-01-02, version 2.0.24*

Used this for our trip to all 4 parks and the line prediction was waaay off too often to be useful.

### 2/5 — Great option… weird charge

*2024-12-01, version 2.0.24*

I have loved using this app but after a little over a year and it’s cutting me off saying I need to pay another “one time fee” (I have paid it once before) I truthfully would pay it again cause I loved the app but just call it a year charge- would be a 5 star otherwise

### 5/5 — A MUST Have App!

*2024-05-10, version 2.0.21*

I absolutely will not visit Walt Disney World without this app! It helps me make the best decisions and maximize our fun in the parks. Trust these numbers!

### 5/5 — Best app ever

*2024-05-03, version 2.0.21*

More accurate by far than the official one

### 5/5 — The best WDW community and support

*2024-04-09, version 2.0.21*

This app is helpful on many levels, including ride wait times and touring plans for the parks. But the most helpful aspect for me is the community conversations in “chat” as well as the discussion forum.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Two thousand and late

*2026-08-23, version 2.2.3*

This app is vintage. Developer must me laughing out there, that people keep dropping $30 on something that was developed 10 years ago. Found it to be pretty much worthless during my visit. Disney app does all the same but free and 1000 times better

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work at all

*2026-05-10, version 2.2.1*

The app doesn’t let me login no matter what I do. I was wanting to use it. But nothing works and refuses to log me into it.

### 1/5 — Inaccurate

*2026-05-02, version 2.2.1*

Wait times were inaccurate every time. Disney World app was more accurate. Waste of $25😕

### 1/5 — Just freezes since last update

*2026-01-03, version 2.2.1*

Worked fine before than . Apple 13

### 1/5 — Never correct

*2025-12-14, version 2.2.1*

The app is a good idea but the wait times are always wrong. Every time I used it the parks estimated wait times were actually correct. ALSO, after submitting 3 wait times that were longer than expected, the app quit letting me submit wait times. Convenient for them. Don’t waste $24 on this for nothing.

### 1/5 — Waste of money now

*2025-10-10, version 2.1.12*

The last time I went to Disney, I loved planning with this app. Now it is so buggy it’s useless.

After entering one plan for MK, that plan comes up for every other plan I attempt. I’ve deleted and added back and manually tried to adjust plans with the steps showing up until I save, then the MK steps show up every time.

I used to like being able to map the attractions across the park paths, but this has only been frustrating this time.

The crowd calendar times don’t match other crowd calendars. Simply useless now. A big shame.

### 1/5 — Innacurate

*2025-08-26, version 2.1.12*

Don’t trust the expected wait times in the app — they’re wildly inaccurate. I’ve been standing in line for an hour for a “25 minute expected wait,” and I’m still standing here with time to write this review. It’s been wrong my entire trip. Wasted my money on a membership. Be warned.

### 1/5 — Not even close

*2025-08-13, version 2.1.12*

We’ve been trying to use it all week and it is consistently not even close. We wait in the line for over an hour and it says it’s supposed to be 30 minutes rearranging your day according to this app will only hurt you.

### 1/5 — Update to UI is awful

*2025-05-22, version 2.1.12*

The new user interface ruined a good app. The view is now cluttered looking. Worst of all the app constantly crashes indicating error fetching data and you often have to restart the app to
Switch parks now. This was not an improvement in anyway.

### 1/5 — Trying to Create Account - There Was a Problem

*2024-05-30, version 2.0.21*

I’m trying to create an account and after entering a username, email address and password & confirming my password all I get in response is “There was a problem” with a simple option of choosing “Ok”. That is NOT helpful. Is my username already taken? Does the password require a special character? What the heck? How do I even know what to fix?

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Don’t plan a trip without touringplans

*2026-01-22, version 2.2.1*

This app is part of a broader touring plans service. I subscribed to it for my first trip 12 years ago and have used it faithfully on every Disney World trip since. You still have to make some choices when planning but this will tell what’s good. Really, everyone using this app is ahead of those that don’t.

### 5/5 — Best way to do Disney

*2025-05-15, version 2.1.12*

I’ve used this app for about a dozen trips and can’t rave enough about it and the time it’s saved me in line. “Chat” feature of app has incredible tips you won’t see elsewhere that make trips better. Phenomenal customer service too if a subscriber has any issues or questions. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Worth every penny

*2025-04-01, version 2.0.24*

I’ve been using this app since 2017. The advice I’ve gotten from the chat has been invaluable. TP is the #1 planning guide. The touring plans help me figure out my day. Lots of great features.

### 5/5 — Custom touring plans & Wait Times

*2025-03-09, version 2.0.24*

I love being able to select the experiences we want to do and getting help creating a plan for the day. I did this before our trip and it helped to choose which multi pass rides to select. Then you can add lightning lane reservations and then optimize throughout the day. I also appreciate having access to the wait times. They are more accurate than Disney posted wait times.

### 5/5 — Absolutely necessary for any Disney trip!!

*2025-03-06, version 2.0.24*

I love this app so much!! The wait times are so much more accurate than Disney wait times. The paid version is worth it when going on a Disney trip.

### 5/5 — I use this app for planning my trip

*2025-02-19, version 2.0.24*

Every time I go. I also use it to see what the wait times are because I’m missing Disney. It has great information from crowd calendars to menus and helps you pick a hotel room.

### 5/5 — Great app, but could really use an Apple Watch App too

*2024-12-18, version 2.0.24*

This app is great for minimizing time in line at Disney World. They’re very up front that to access all information you’ll need a subscription to TouringPlans.com. The annual fee is less than a quick service meal at Disney World, how much is your time in line worth?

An optimized touring plan helps you minimize that time in line. The planning functions of this app tie into the website, but the intent of this app is more for the touring plan built on touring plans.com. I don’t agree at all with the critiques that wait times are off-the predicted wait times were never more than 4 minutes off (unless the ride broke which is not TP’s fault).

I think an Apple Watch app will pay huge benefits. It will allow quick access to answer “where was I going next?” and to allow users to submit wait times, etc. that’s really the only recommendation I have for improving this great app.

### 5/5 — This is a must!!

*2024-08-01, version 2.0.24*

I know you are thinking how can something so cheap be worth it for planning an expensive vacation. Frankly, it is worth 10 times the money at least. I used this in Oct of 2017 for WDW. I planned for my family and for my in-laws to meet us at the parks for a few days. The planned worked perfectly! Used again Oct 2019 for WDW, for Universal in July of 2021, and now again July 2024 for WDW. Touring Plans makes it so you can see where one ride is to another, how long a ride or show is, and really line up your day. It shows you the expected crowd at the park which helps to choose which park to do. And it shows you a list of what is available to do in each park. There is more than you might think. You should check into each one. Some of the most surprising things are the ones you would otherwise walk by like Mickey’s Philharmagic in MK. Great show and especially for the afternoon when you need to recharge. Line up you day! It takes time to go through the pavilions in Epcot. Touring Plans tells you how long it will take you to walk from Norway to Canada. You need to think ahead if you want to eat in Italy after hanging out in France. Touring Plans helps you get that list down of things you want to do and plan them out so you actually do them. It helps you add in the hidden gems that without Touring Plans you would walk by. It gives you a plan so you know where you will be when your family will want to eat. You look into what is available in that area and know in advance what direction to go. No one wants to walk around more or wait for you to read off a bunch of different menus to them so they can all vote in 90* heat. You know what your family likes. You know what you like. Touring Plans helps you to make a trip filled with only your likes. This is a must.

### 5/5 — Useful

*2024-07-10, version 2.0.21*

We have used both this and the Universal app on our current holiday and they have been really helpful. The main things we’ve used are the ride descriptions and the wait times, including timing a few waits myself.

I didn’t really use the planning section of the app because we’ve been here for a few days so had sufficient time to fit in everything we wanted to do.

I would definitely say the app is a useful tool to have & I think it was money well spent.

One suggestion I would make is that we were fortunate to have a friend who suggested a few resort restaurants we could eat at. We absolutely loved Geyser Point at Wilderness Lodges which was reasonably priced too. The app doesn’t mention these and I imagine there are some hidden gems. I realise mapping them out would be a huge task but perhaps it would be good to share a few highlights.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this app.

### 5/5 — Way better value than Genie +

*2024-06-07, version 2.0.21*

I’m not a big app review guy, but need to spread the word on this. 25$ish for a year of this app with the touring plans tailor made for you and Lines which is much more accurate than Disney’s own. Or you could pay 30 per person per day. We got on every ride in the park…some multiple times.
