## What is Dispatch by Packet Prospector?

Dispatch is the field-service app for fiber broadband technicians. Built for the realities of working on customer property — outside, often offline, under time pressure — it puts every tool a tech needs on one screen and keeps your office in sync.

WHAT TECHS DO WITH DISPATCH

• See today's installations, surveys, and locate tickets the moment dispatch sends them
• Navigate to customer addresses with one tap to iOS Maps
• Capture install photos and equipment serial numbers without leaving the job record
• Scan QR codes on modems, ONTs, and drop labels for instant validation
• Document site conditions during pre-installation surveys
• Update job status the moment work is complete; the office sees it instantly
• Sign customer FCC §8.1 broadband label attestations when service tiers change at install
• Manage JULIE / 811 locate responses with structured field replies

BUILT FOR THE FIELD

• Works in spotty coverage — Dispatch queues your changes locally and syncs the moment connectivity returns
• Face ID or Touch ID sign-in (no password to type on a 6-inch screen)
• Push notifications for new assignments, schedule changes, and urgent locate tickets — even when the app is closed
• Designed for one-handed use during installations
• High-resolution photo capture for install documentation

FOR FIBER ISPs

Dispatch is part of the PacketProspector platform. The dispatch board, customer portal, billing system, and field app share one source of truth, so every install, ticket, and signature lands in the same record. Your customers self-serve through the web portal; your techs run the same data from Dispatch.

FCC §8.1 COMPLIANCE BUILT IN

FCC broadband labels are auto-generated for every service tier, tracked at signup, and re-issued whenever a customer's plan changes — including mid-install. Dispatch captures customer attestation on the new label when a tier change happens at the truck, no clipboard required.

PRIVACY

Dispatch collects only what's needed to do your job: your work assignments, the customer's service location, install documentation, and your device identifier for push notifications. We don't track you across apps. Crash reports include only an anonymous user ID — never your email or name. Full details at https://packetprospector.com/privacy.html

WHO THIS IS FOR

Dispatch is a B2B field-service tool. You sign in with the work account your ISP provides — there is no consumer signup. If you're a residential broadband customer looking to manage your service, your ISP runs the PacketProspector Customer Portal in a web browser; ask them for the link.

SUPPORT

Your ISP's customer-success team is the first stop for any in-shift issue. For technical bugs in Dispatch itself, contact hello@packetprospector.com.
