### 5/5 — Great News App Honest About It’s Worldview

*2020-02-17, version 1.4*

This is a great news app to supplement the news feeds from the “big” mainstream apps. Unlike some mainstream outlets that try to obfuscate their position with a misleading objectivity this app is plain in following a conservative Christian worldview. And that’s just fine. You know exactly what you’re going to get. In today’s “yellow journalism” objectivity is thrown out the window by both big and small outlets. It’s good to see another quality news app entering the field for a worldview that millions of Americans still hold to. Keep up the good work Disrn!

### 5/5 — Simple & sleek

*2020-02-14, version 1.4*

Love the Disrn app. The website has been my go to for news since it was launched, and when the app was rolled out, I quickly downloaded & installed it. Well worth it.

### 5/5 — Great, concise, on time

*2020-02-06, version 1.3*

Covers often much of what other outlets don’t. Opinion pieces are extremely insightful, and defend conservatism with vigor and intellectual acumen that’s not see many other places. Spread the word—this is the news app you need. It’s one of my main news sources now.

### 5/5 — Exactly what it advertises

*2020-01-27, version 1.3*

It’s brief: most articles are only a few paragraphs.
It’s smart: they report intelligently, not muckraking, but relevant events of which Americans need to know.
It’s faithful: except for the articles clearly labeled “Opinion:”, they state the facts, without interpretation.

### 5/5 — Adam Ford Fan

*2020-01-26, version 1.3*

I started with the Babylon Bee but then went backwards to his web comics. I could never get in to The Christian Daily Reporter but when I heard about Disrn. I was interested and signed up for the newsletter. It is read immediately as soon as it arrives in my inbox. The app makes reading the stories that much easier. Since signing up for the app there hasn’t been a day that I haven’t opened it up and read something. I feel like I am better informed and find myself being more interested in current events.

### 5/5 — Permissible addiction

*2020-01-25, version 1.3*

I must have my daily dose of Disrn - the easiest and most efficient way to maintain awareness of current events from a non-biased news source. (Of course, I must also have my daily dose of the Adam Ford Newsletter, which elaborates on some of those stories from an amusing and conservative vantage point. 😀)

### 5/5 — Best News Source Out There

*2020-01-24, version 1.3*

I don’t like to get my news any other way. Clear news stories, up to date, with commentary and sources. Couldn’t ask for anything better.

### 5/5 — Awesome app. Get it.

*2020-01-24, version 1.3*

Great app and great news site. Brief, to-the-point headlines and articles that allow you to get the news and get on with your day. Also love their opinion pieces, which are rather insightful and intelligent.

### 5/5 — Concise and Timely News

*2020-01-23, version 1.2*

Disrn gets the news to me in the best way - just the facts, as fast(or faster) than other news apps, and the UI is pleasing to the eye and the brain while I read. It also only shows ACTUAL news, not special-interest fluff pieces or advertising disguised as “journalism.”

### 5/5 — The best.

*2020-01-23, version 1.2*

Awesome app. Great source for news that doesn’t peddle hysteria or click-bait. Fair. Honest. Perhaps best of all: some of it is “good” news— reporting on good things that are happening all around us and are often overlooked or simply ignored. DISRN is the best.

### 5/5 — Simple and Prominent

*2020-01-22, version 1.1*

This app brings together a clean design for getting to the important issues of the day without all the misleading and half leading headlines. The articles are concise and focused on the facts that other articles fail to mention.

### 5/5 — Hot n Ready

*2020-01-22, version 1.1*

Like Little Caesars Pizza, this app by Disrn delivers it hot n’
ready like an endless lunch buffet and salad bar. Instead of getting the stuffed crust option, I got what you’d call the “Loaded News Dipper” option. Filled with noteworthy news and facts along with expert-marksmanship on citations and references. That’s how I like it!

Now, where did I put that famous ranch dressing at?

### 5/5 — Hooray for Disrn!

*2020-01-22, version 1.1*

I have been getting the Adam Ford newsletter long enough to be thrilled that this app was finally released. I know it was a labor of love for the guys over there. I love the app! It has all the news I want to hear and gives it in a short enough report that I can be caught up in a matter of minutes! It also has links to full reports if I want to know more about something. Keep up the good work!

### 5/5 — Confessions of a Former News Junkie

*2020-01-22, version 1.1*

I once watched the news almost religiously, but overtime I was so tired of people trying to tell me what to think about what happened. I have a brain, I can jump to my own crazy conclusions, but I digress. Finally, a place to find out what happened. Just the facts. Finally someone telling me, “This happened yesterday over there involving three people.”

Thank you for this!

### 5/5 — Best source for concise and meaningful news

*2020-01-22, version 1.1*

This app taps into my favorite news source. Disrn consistently stays ahead of the news curve and delivers the handful of daily stories that actually matter and don’t rely on click bait. This is particularly true as it pertains to stories centered in a Christian worldview. Get informed, manage your online time better, be moved to action, update your prayer list= download this app.

### 5/5 — Like a Smoothie

*2020-01-22, version 1.1*

This app is the smoothest I’ve ever used. It is so clean and concise. In a world of 24 hour news toxins flowing in ad nauseum, this is an organic smoothie for the mind and a time-saver. You will get back some of your life by using it. Enjoy the freshness!

### 5/5 — Great News, Sleek Design

*2020-01-22, version 1.1*

Articles are perfectly concise, they actually give you all the details you want with no fluff. Most impressive.

The UI is well designed and intuitive as well. It’s a good deal.

### 5/5 — Trustworthy, quick, pictures

*2020-01-22, version 1.1*

Easy to navigate, quick reads, worthwhile, accurate information. International as well.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Non-functional

*2022-06-30, version 1.13*

This app is non-functional on my new iPhone 13 Pro. I get an error message, “something went wrong.” Agreed. Can you help? For the record, I rebooted my phone and tried with no success. The I uninstalled and reinstalled with no success. When I click on App Support the message says “Safari cannot open the page… cannot find the server” something to that effect. Maybe Disrn is having trouble today. Hope it clears up soon.

### 1/5 — Wonderful News but Inappropriate Adds

*2020-12-04, version 1.13*

I have loved Disrn and have been using it since it was just an email newsletter. The news is faithful and presents articles relevant to a Christian and has been a blessing in my life.

HOWEVER, this week I have noticed many of the advertisements being sexually provocative. If the inappropriate and tempting aspects of the adds displayed is not changed, I will have no option but to stop using this service. I ask that you address these issues to protect the hearts of brothers in Christ.

### 5/5 — A good source for your news

*2020-08-11, version 1.13*

I have been praying for a news site that has current events with out a bias. This covers both. I recommend to all my friends and family.

### 5/5 — Not The Same Ol’ News!

*2020-07-29, version 1.13*

I love Disrn! Not only do they cover the main news stories everyone else does but they also have news I wouldn’t know about without their reporting. I can scan the headlines and get the gist or read the well written articles to get details. I read a lot and have gotten into the habit of reading Disrn first.

### 5/5 — Underrated and excellent

*2020-07-22, version 1.12*

The only negative I can say is that one article was written using the term “gun violence” instead of violent crime committed with a gun. (Guns are tools like knives and cars and scissors and kill no one all by themselves-you need a negligent or wicked heart using the tool to do that.) This is the only negative so far. Otherwise I love the stories covered and appreciate the morally grounded worldview.

### 5/5 — Is it Friday yet?

*2020-07-17, version 1.12*

As a new subscriber (2 weeks), I’ve already binge-listened yo every podcast, some multiple times. All are insightful, relevant, and informative. Just heard #24; can’t wait for #25! The subscription was an excellent investment!

### 5/5 — news you can trust

*2020-06-24, version 1.11*

This app delivers news that appeals to me. The stories are the things I’m interested in and I feel like the articles are very thoughtful. Thank you for your hard work!

### 5/5 — The Good Stuff

*2020-05-27, version 1.11*

Need the news without the communist manifesto getting rammed down your throat? Look no further than Disrn. Thanks, Adam Ford and company for exalting Christ and informing the world about its goings on. Two thumbs way up!

### 5/5 — Amazing news source. Brief and to the point

*2020-05-15, version 1.10*

Love this app/news site!! It’ll keep you in the know without dragging you through the unnecessary details that other news articles do. Check it out!

### 5/5 — Quick and to the point

*2020-05-05, version 1.10*

I love that on Disrn I can quickly check what’s important news. Articles are short and to the point, facts only, no partisan spin. When I have more time, the opinion pieces are good and thought provoking.

## Most praised reviews (2 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Brief, accurate, and relevant

*2020-03-08, version 1.5*

I love that Disrn reports on events that I care about, like the persecuted church and pro-life stories, in addition to the stories with the most important political and cultural impact. The stories are short, but with links to additional information if I want to learn more. Also, the opinion pieces are fantastic.

### 5/5 — The best and most reliable news source

*2020-02-25, version 1.5*

Disrn is by far the most reliable and dependable news source available on the market today. It’s unbiased repotting and sound sources provide news from a Christian worldview perspective. I go to Disrn first for news and information.
