It's such a good idea, but the app doesn't work at all, neither in distance nor in time mode.

I set the run for a 5 session, 600m run 400m rest cycle, but the session finished some when in the last cycle but before it ended!

This could be a good interval training up but could do with some updates;

- needs a warm up option, time or distance before the interval session begins

- the spoken run / rest command is far to quiet, in fact it's pretty much silent. I ran with the phone in my hand and still could not hear it! 

- I'm not sure the run / rest command works at all when the phone is locked!!

- the run / rest command needs to be accompanied with an audible high & low sounds, and perhaps optional phone vibrate.

- the app does not keep up with your run, it always seem to be well behind (again it seemed to be worse when the screen is locked) 

- your runs are not saved so you can't compare runs and see if you're improving (or not) 

- need to be able to review the run session, time splits, cycle comparisons etc...

Overall, I like the idea of distance interval training and this app could be good. However, needs updates as it's just not usable as it is.

Simple to use and allows you to set distance intervals easily. It gives instruction through podcasts and music on when to rest and when to run and allows you control over the distance for both and how many reps.  It will also track the run via gps.
Exactly what I was after and works perfectly.

Such a great app.  Does exactly what it says, tracks distance accurately, and is only $.99.  Can't beat that.
