Distill checks webpages in cloud using servers or locally on your computer using browser extensions. Whenever there is a change, Distill will notify you of the change. The iOS app lets you get push notifications from local and cloud monitors instantly. The Watchlist and history view lets you view the changes with great detail. Note that Distill doesn't check the webpages on your phone, so it doesn't affect your phone's battery. The app is a client to view and mange your Watchlist and get push notifications. ## Check Intervals Local monitors support a minimum check interval of 5 seconds for all plans. Cloud monitors support 10 minutes check interval in Starter plan, 5 minutes in the Professional plan and 2 minutes in the Flexi plan. ## Alert Actions Get alerts in the following ways once you set them as actions. - Push notification on phones - Email - SMS - Discord, Slack and Webhook You can use conditions to receive alerts only on important changes matching the conditions. ## Subscription The app needs a paid subscription. You can purchase an auto-renewing subscription through an In-App Purchase. - 1 month Starter($14.99) and 1 month Professional($34.99). On top of that, pages often fail to load, and I've been getting duplicate notifications for the same change (this one predates the update). Feature request: please add a way to delete unwanted diff entries — for example, false diffs logged when the site was temporarily unreachable. Cleaning up the history manually is currently impossible. Hoping these get addressed, as the core monitoring feature itself is useful. ### 5/5 — Surprised *2026-07-18, version 4.1.2* Honestly, I was surprised. I had set up a couple alerts in the app and then kind of forgot about it. Like a month later I get a notification and sure enough it had caught the price drop I was looking for. The app itself isn’t the most polished or intuitive to use. But it does work! ### 1/5 — Overcharges customers *2026-07-11, version 4.1.2* The monthly subscription is prohibitively expensive and there is no option to purchase one off or limited access/tokens. I have been charged for an additional months access that I do not need or want and they refuse to refund. Shameful business practice. ### 5/5 — Takes the time and worry out of monitoring a site *2026-06-18, version 4.1.2* I absolutely love this App! I used it to monitor stock on a hard to get Canyon E bike. I set up one monitor to for the back in stock notification and another for the availability. It is easy and intuitive to set up the notifications. You can choose precise items of a webpage to monitor and how often you want them checked. Before using the app I was relying on me remembering to check the site every few hours throughout the day. Once I had the monitors in place, though, I could stop worrying and the notifications came straight to my phone and watch. I absolutely recommend this 100%! ### 5/5 — Works great, if you take the time to understand and test the various elements and settings *2026-05-05, version 4.1.2* While this may present as a simple solution, it works best when you spend time tweaking and testing your site monitoring. I’ve been able to set things up right in order to avoid missing things as well as false alarms. If you use this for business or for finding valuable items in a competitive market then it’s well worth the price. My only wishes right now is for there to be an Apple Watch app that I could use to at least see previews of monitor alerts without having to necessarily open my phone to check. Or for the visual preview seen in the email notifications to also be shown in the text notifications and through the webhook interfaces. The visual part is important to me so that would be huge. ### 1/5 — Just bad *2026-03-16, version 4.0.4* Firstly there is a hard cap on the number of searches you have a month that is not communicated with the user when subscribing. Secondly my account didn’t receive full service for the month I was subscribed for. I somehow have 6000/1000 searches used for month. App is complete garbage ### 5/5 — Good *2026-02-18, version 3.12.8* It is very usefull and beneficial for me as a call center agent so that i will be aware of new chats that comes and alert me ### 1/5 — Free features removed *2026-01-03* I used Distill successfully a few months ago to set monitors on my laptop and receive mobile notifications. I went back to set up a monitor and found this is now a paid feature with the lowest membership tier costing $15 a MONTH. Removing previously free features and charging for them feels dishonest. ### 1/5 — Did Not Function *2025-12-23, version 3.12.8* I downloaded the app and started a subscription with a 10 min refresh time on a website that does random merchandise drops. Unfortunately the app did not pick up up when the drop happened, I caught it first by monitoring the web page for about 2 hours and manually refreshing every 5 minutes myself.
