Ich habe auch schon andere Plattformen ausprobiert, aber DistroKid gefällt mir bisher mit Abstand am besten. Gerade die Veröffentlichung der eigenen Musik auf so vielen Plattformen finde ich klasse – Spotify, Amazon Music und viele weitere sind direkt dabei. So erreicht man mit seinen Songs ein viel größeres Publikum. Auch die regelmäßigen Updates darüber, wo und wann ein Song veröffentlicht wurde, finde ich richtig gut. Man hat dadurch immer den Überblick und weiß genau, was gerade passiert. Insgesamt eine wirklich tolle und unkomplizierte App. 👍 Weiter so! On my Vio Three album, the TuneCore AI detection bot got a false positive on the third track, one in which I played acoustic violin into the iPad’s built in microphone , I layered three violin tracks using Loopy. No AI whatsoever… not a fan of AI. Their “Support Staff” just kept parroting back what the bot had falsely flagged. They finally came back and told me they made a mistake, and sent the album off to stores. But it was too late. DistroKid had already released the album (2 more), and I had to go back and remove the TuneCore submission. I like DistroKid’s track mastering and the availability of promotion tools. My ACH withdrawal of $2,617.41 has now been pending for 18 days. DistroKid’s own Bank page states that the payment is “taking longer than usual” and instructs me to contact customer service. The problem is that I have repeatedly attempted to do exactly that. I’ve gone through DistroBot multiple times and selected the live-agent option, only to wait without reaching a representative or be sent back through the automated process. I’ve also contacted DistroKid through other available channels without receiving a substantive explanation for the delayed withdrawal. I contacted Tipalti as well, and was directed back to DistroKid for payment support. I’m not asking for special treatment. I simply want a human representative to review my withdrawal, explain why it remains pending, and tell me what—if anything—is required from me to resolve it. I will gladly update this review if DistroKid resolves the issue, but after 18 days and repeated attempts to obtain human assistance, this has been an extremely disappointing support experience. ### 1/5 — Support sucks *2026-08-10, version 3.8.2* Contacted support through chat. Not helpful for my issue. Contacted email support. Again, not helpful to my specific issue and they gave me an automatically generated generic response that did not apply to my situation. I tried to accomplish this on both the iOS app as well as using my computer on their desktop website. Completely unacceptable. I tried taking my release off of my account and it wouldn’t let me due to it requiring a password for verification. I don’t have a regular password since I log in with my Google account which was not an option for verification to delete my release. Either include Gmail account verification or offer a two-step authorization via your phone with text. This shouldn’t be such a hassle and that difficult. If it doesn’t get fixed soon I will cancel my subscription and go with another distributor. Again my reasoning for that is the inferior release removal setup and the lack of proper support. ### 1/5 — AVOID *2026-08-02, version 3.8.0* Possibly the worst customer service I have experienced. I spent an hour on chat trying to do something as simple as update an email so I can access my account. The person was clearly dealing with multiple people as they took five minutes to respond to each message and could not offer anything more than stock responses that had nothing to do with my request. When I requested that they instead close the account and delete my data they closed the chat without responding. Seriously, avoid this company at all costs.
