### 4/5 — Nice Dividend Tracker

*2022-03-31, version 2.8.2*

Rating only 4 stars since the DRIP on/off toggle functionality appears to be broken. When I have DRIP turned off, dividends are still being added in. I have filed a bug report with the developer but the issue has persisted for months.

### 4/5 — One Upgrade Needed

*2022-01-19, version 2.8.2*

The only thing needed is the be able to add funds on an annual or monthly bases under the tracker. So that it can take into account contributions into the stock. Other than that I love the app it is great. Good job with it. The database is extensive.

### 3/5 — Helpful but not perfect

*2021-12-03, version 2.8.2*

I like the app and use it to track my dividend investments. The issues I have is lack of communication with developer on feedback of bugs and errors and wrong dividend information/settings within a stock. I get no response from my feedback emails. I have an investment that will simply not stay in my portfolio after adding a position. Always disappears . Still waiting on a reply to my big submission. Also, I have some stocks that have incorrect dividend information such as frequency of payout (quarterly or monthly) that obviously causes the yield to show incorrect information and thus my portfolio totals and distributions are wrong. It would be a great app if my feedback was addressed and j was told it will be added to a future app update. Last app update as of this writing is 6 months ago so I’m guessing app updates are infrequent…and quite possibly the feedback emails aren’t read very often either.

### 3/5 — Sync mode

*2021-10-04, version 2.8.2*

I honestly believe that having This app sync with my Robinhood app would be the icing on the cake as far as having everything organized and right where I want it. I believe if you guys add that feature soon I would give this app 5 stars easily just because it would be easy for me to add my stocks on Robinhood and then see them accurately show me my payouts and growth on my calculator which is what I want the most, I absolutely hate having to add everything in manually and it what’s worst is that the percentages and dividends don’t actually equal the exact amount that I have on Robinhood because of yields and taxes. So for those of us that are not good with the math of tax withholdings and yields we would like to just have it all sync up and calculate on its own and that way we can easily see the good stuff. Thanks and I hope to see this change soon.

### 3/5 — Could be better at its intended purpose

*2021-06-30, version 2.8.2*

I had high hopes for the app, but it fails at providing the most fundamental and important data, upcoming dividends.

On 6/25, I have 20 positions listed, I know from my records that 6 are to pay out today 6/30. In the Upcoming screen, three positions were listed with “icons”, one paying July 30, one Sept 7, and one Sept 30 (with no $ amount shown). Below the three was a listing of “Earnings” dates. By tapping the little “box” in the upper left corner, a new screen appears entitled “Payout History” with a table listing of three upcoming months (July-Sept) of payouts. Really? “payout history”? There is no history here. Why is this not the list that shows up in the main Upcoming screen? Where are my Upcoming June payments?

The app also misses out on a lost opportunity to put the upcoming div data on the Home Screen where the position icons are displayed. On iPads there is a lot of wasted space, having to scroll to see the different icons they way they are display three across.

I think there is hope for this app if the developer can fix the shortcomings.

### 2/5 — No what I expected

*2021-03-24, version 2.8.1*

If you own a lot of stocks, this is not worth the money. It doesn’t “auto drip” so anytime you receive a dividend, you must manually enter it. The problem is you can’t add the dividend to a previously loaded position, so you have to figure out your new cost basis etc and re enter the whole thing. There doesn’t seem to be any support from the developers either. There are much better free web based options at this point.

### 3/5 — App Locked

*2021-01-16, version 2.8.1*

I downloaded the app to my iPhone 2 days ago. I have been enjoying the features and bought the extra features. Today, I can not open the app at all and app screen is locked. The screen says we were unable to authenticate you into DivCalc. Please try again. Re-authenticate.
Please advise me as to what to do to get back into my app.
Thanks

### 4/5 — Nice App with Good Info

*2020-12-24, version 2.8.1*

This app is just what I’m looking for to track all my dividend stock. Lots of insightful information. Only lacks one thing - the ability to link it with your stock trading app’s so that you don’t have to manually list your portfolio. If you had this feature, it would certainly be a five star app. Please consider adding this feature as other dividend stocks have. Thanks.

### 2/5 — Needs some improvements

*2020-12-19, version 2.8.1*

A lot of the dividend percentages are off. Example KEY. Some stocks don’t even show up. Example BGFV, and TPR. The DRIP calculator isn’t very good. It misses dividend payout dates. I love the concept of the app. Be prepared to pay $2.99 if you want to enter more than 3 stocks. I’ve sent several emails to support and haven’t got any answers as of yet. Although it’s only been about 4 or 5 days. This would be a great app with a little maintenance and support.

### 3/5 — Progress

*2020-12-02, version 2.7.2*

The app is amazing when it works, 100% recommend when it’s doing it correctly. Recently the app would randomly wipe your portfolio or add/remove shares you did not do. Now those seem to be fixed yet newer bugs were introduced. Now dividends calculations are off so the main use for the app is now gone. Also small bugs such as the pie chart showing incorrect values or stock industry. When this app squashes these remaining bugs, it will prove to be a powerful dividend tool.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback and support. We had an outage with our data provider on 11/29. We have since released version 2.7.2 which resolves the issue and will restore your portfolio. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your support.

### 2/5 — Deleted Portfolio

*2020-11-29, version 2.7.1*

I have had this app for not that long, but it has worked very well. However, recently I have been seeing a major issue of the app deleting my portfolio when I pull down and refresh my portfolio and when I close/re-open the app. This is a major bug! I hope this gets fixed quickly.

### 4/5 — Good, could be little better

*2020-11-26, version 2.7.1*

Good, clean easy to use interface.

Makes you pay 2.99 to have more than 3 stocks in your portfolio then wants to charge you monthly to have numerous portfolios.

Developers, scratch the month and make it one 2.99-$10 payment for full access.

### 4/5 — Need some work...

*2020-11-15, version 2.7.1*

The application is simple to use and I like that, but Ticker Symbol PFE is missing and dividends updates should be perform every day (weekdays), few companies already payback dividends but it does not show properly, please developers fix that soon. Overall, I am please with the application.

### 3/5 — Needs significant update

*2020-10-10, version 2.7.1*

Falls short when compared to other dividend trackers. You can’t create an account login which would have been nice so I could use the app on my laptop AND my phone without the need to pay twice and import data twice.
Also, $T had an ex date and dividend payout date and it never showed on my app.

If you want simple, this app is simple. If you want more in depth, detailed info then look elsewhere.

### 4/5 — Easy and Helpful app

*2020-09-18, version 2.6.7*

This app is an easy way to track all your stocks and when and how much dividends they will pay. I love how it also provides a "News" section allowing me to stay informed about any changes the stocks I own will undergo so I can act accordingly. However, I give this app 4 stars becasue there is no sync feature that syncrinizes it with the iPadOS and iOS versions. I hate having to go in and manually update every single stock in all my devices. I hope this feature gets added soon. Also, if I may make another suggestion, It would be nice to have a history of when a stock paid dividends and had their earnings in the past, preferably in graph form. Overall, it is a simple, easy, and time-saving app to track my dividends. Worth every penny.

### 3/5 — Update please

*2020-09-11, version 2.6.6*

I hope they fix the DRIP function on this app, that would be a game changer! Overall still love the apps. But really need that DRIP fixed! And some of the Dividends are not correct example being LOW at .55 cents but they LOW raised their dividend to .60 cents a while ago. So yes please update dividends and fix the DRIP function.

### 2/5 — Wish I never spent money on this

*2020-09-03, version 2.6.5*

App is not consistent with yields and payouts. Currently have AAPL and it has zero yield on the app. Also SPHD says no payout on the app. My upcoming payments are not complete on the app. O and STAG pay every month but they’re not on my upcoming payments. Wish I was notified when I got a dividend. But that’s not the apps fault for not notifying me just wish they would add that.

Overall If you have no clue about dividends then this is okay. But I’ve been mentioned much better apps than this one

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Would be a five if it worked for all stocks

*2021-05-09, version 2.8.2*

I was really excited when I purchased this app until I tried to add my BAYRY position. For some reason it doesn’t work with this stock. I emailed for support and hoped it would be fixed with their new update. However it is still not fixed and has rendered this app practically useless for me. I doubt this is the only stock with that issue. I find it hard to believe I am an isolated phenomenon.

### 1/5 — Save your money.

*2021-02-17, version 2.8.1*

I’ve had this app, with the premium version for about 6 months now.... trust me you’d have better luck with your money in a meme stock. The app is constantly crashing even after updates, not to mention your positions literally get deleted hours after you update them. I’ve given this app every chance I could, it is not worth it!! Emailed their support, No replies to no surprise. Trust me save your money. I honestly regret even paying for it because I normally don’t even leave reviews, but this definitely deserves zero stars.

### 1/5 — Data disappears, don’t waste your money

*2020-12-20, version 2.8.1*

I was using this app for several months, and everything was going great until this morning. I opened it this morning to find that one of the portfolios I had created (the biggest one) had disappeared, and it’ll take forever to add it back in.

In addition to that, this app frequently experiences incomplete data pulls, and also weird inconsistencies for dividend data. One example is that my total dividend income toggles by several hundred dollars between refreshes.

### 1/5 — Very inconsistent

*2020-12-16, version 2.8.1*

Was good in the beginning but not sure what happened. The positions I add keep changing in the number of shares and I often need to change it to reflect the correct amount. And just looking at it today my portfolio was wiped out and I need to start over again! I would say stay away for not until they prove consistency. Part of me regret paying the $3 for an app like this. Now I need to re-add all my holdings.

### 1/5 — Great, snappy UI. Definitely worth premium

*2020-08-16, version 2.6.3*

Update 8/16:

Although I was very happy with this app before it seems like each update now just breaks the app further and slowed it down. The latest update was the nail in the coffin and now the app won’t load anything, regardless of me trying on data or WiFi. Stop fixing things that aren’t broken man, y’all had a great app and now you’re ruining it

——

UPDATE 5/28:

Really happy with the devs listening to feedback and implementing the different portfolios for better organization.

Something else I’d like to seen added to fully complete this feature is a summary page with the breakdown of dividends annually, monthly and daily aggregated across all inputted portfolios. I already do this on my budget spreadsheet but having it on the app would be so much more convenient
———————-
Amazing work on the UI and responsiveness of the app. Easily the best $2 I’ve spent

A couple ideas that I have that I think would be cool if it’s logically possible for y’all to incorporate:

-being able to create subset portfolios so that I can track which dividends & how much I’ll be getting in my Roth, normal taxable brokerage and IRA
-if that can be done, some type of monthly report that shows the dividends paid to each account and total for all accounts

### 1/5 — Similar issue as others - App does not save holdings

*2020-08-11, version 2.6.2*

Not worth the upgrade. I initially loved this app. Then I bought the paid version. Since then, the app has forgotten my portfolio information. I repeatedly entered the number of shares and cost basis. After a few days, the portfolio resets and my watchlist/holdings/cost basis are gone.

I tried to contact support, but the support team said they’ve never heard of the issue. Here, I see previous reviews note the same issue.

I might recommend DivTracker instead. Or just stick with the free version of DivCalc.

### 1/5 — Update not Appreciated

*2020-07-31, version 2.6.0*

I was immensely enjoying this app and had strongly recommended it to many I know personally/within several investing groups. This latest update, however, doesn’t sit well with me. The release notes advertise push notifications. Great! One catch...when you try to turn them on, you are prompted to sign up for a monthly charge of some unspecified amount. The app page in the store also says nothing about in app purchases, how much the subscription is, or what all is included in the subscription. Frankly, a monthly payment just for notifications boggles my mind. Especially on an app I already paid for. Even more so when I have zero information about what that subscription costs.

A few more things:
- on the new DRIP/notification functionality, there needs to be a more efficient way to enable it for multiple stocks at once. Currently you have to tap a position, let it load, toggle on DRIP/notifications, go back to the list of stocks, rinse and repeat for every single stock.
- more importantly, DRIP functionality seems to be broken. Wasted about 10 minutes turning it on for several stocks. Went back in and found it was off again for all of them.
- lastly, there is a typo in the quick blurb of text about notifications. Specifically, “announcements is misspelled”.

### 1/5 — Works. But needs help

*2020-07-24, version 2.5.0*

Once you put your portfolio in you can’t add to it when you buy more shares. Thought I might be able to create a different portfolio for every new purchase but once you do that it removes the original. Has a lot of potential but needs a lot of work. Not worth the $3. But will be one day...... I hope

EDIT: changed to one star. Put my portfolio in. Closed the app. All my info is gone. Reentered thinking I forgot to save. No such luck. App is junk. Don’t buy it.

### 1/5 — Requires purchase

*2020-06-02, version 2.1.0*

It requires purchase if you want more than three stocks inputted into the app... I put three stocks in just to experiment with the app and deleted them. I wanted to put another stock in (now that I was at zero) and it doesn't let me without upgrading. Not upgrading for pay if I'm not sure yet if I want it. After this, definitely not going to buy it.

It seems to have potential but I like to tinker with an app to see how it works before I commit.

### 2/5 — would have been YEA but only meh at best

*2021-07-31, version 1.0*

If i werent having the same problems as everyone else (hovering on fetch, stuck forever unable to update to full access) I would have given it a YEA as the idea is exactly what im looking for, but it gets barely a meh (a very slim meh) for not working......

Sent an email to customer support, will probably have the same "no contact back" as the other reviews

the two stars are for having the data set i'm looking for, now if it would only actually work........

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great App: time to add crypto

*2023-06-25*

This is a great app to track dividends. I even use it to track my growth stocks. I think it’s time for the team to add crypto to the app. I have a large portion of my portfolio missing from this app. I can add stocks that don’t pay dividend. But my crypto that I get apy on, which in a sense is a dividend payment is not on here.

App has been awesome. Please add crypto.

### 5/5 — One time fee and great data. Yes!

*2023-01-26, version 1.0*

Had to buy it. one time fee only and then great data with top pick stocks.

Issue running it on an M1 mac though. Screen size works, stock picks work but adding in new stocks doesnt.

You can search for a stock but it just hangs forever. Developer can we fix this please? I paid for the app.

### 5/5 — Best Dividend Tracking App Out There

*2021-05-14, version 2.8.2*

I never write reviews, but this app is a must have. I found this app pretty early after they launched it - it hasn’t let me down yet. I love how you can enable DRIP. Very satisfying watching my income grow every time a dividend is paid out! Look no further for a great div tracking app!!!

### 5/5 — Has so much potential...

*2020-12-31, version 2.8.1*

I’m so disappointed in this app. There’s constantly an issue, and positions are constantly being deleted, and the dividends are always changing. The upcoming ex-dividend dates is one of my fav feature, and more often than not, the page is just blank with no data. When it’s not blank, most ETFs just say $0 estimate.

I originally paid for pro cause it offers the best dividend tracker features for what I’m looking for... but they never work. Would love to see this app consistently work, cause it would be a top contender.

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2020-11-03, version 2.7.1*

I was having trouble with trackyourdividends free site so tried this app. For the cost of the full version it is worth every penny. You can see daily, monthly and yearly dividend returns, you can see each dividends future pay dates and also have access to its stock research feature. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Great so far!

*2020-10-04, version 2.6.7*

Love this app so far! Better than any excel file I could find. Can’t wait to see what new features they add over time. Would love the ability to import from brokerages.

### 5/5 — In complete data pull.

*2020-08-15, version 2.6.3*

I am unable to retrieve any stock information on $SE. I am aware it currently has no dividend payout, but I still want the ability to add it to my portfolio since I own shares. DivCalc Support indicate in an email that the issue is with their data provider. I have asked for an update, but have not gotten a response. Before you purchase this app, I recommend you make sure you can actually pull data for your stock holdings, otherwise you will end up leaving a 3 star review.

A feature needed is to have the ability to import in your stock symbols into a portfolio. The current workflow will have you do this one by one. I would like to see an option to import from a cloud drive document.

Update: With the recent update, I am able to now see the ticker for $SE. Thank you very much for fixing. I’ve changed my review rating to 5 stars.

### 5/5 — Nice dividend tracker (one feature request)

*2020-08-08, version 2.6.2*

This app is great and is improving over time. It’s missing one feature though - if it could automatically adjust shares for dividend reinvestment this app would be perfect. I hope this is added to the app, even if its based on estimates that aren’t exact.

Update: I sent a feedback email about dividend reinvestment and received a very nice response less than a day after sending it. It’s great to know that there are still developers like this out there. I’m confident that this already great app is going to get even better.

Update 2: They added DRIP, so the app is now nearly perfect. The only other suggestion I have is to add a setting that allows you to turn on DRIP for all stocks at once. This will make it easier and prevent missing the setting for any stocks. There should be an option to either add DRIP individually to stocks or to turn on DRIP for all stocks.

Update 3: I’m glad that DRIP was added, but it’s not working even though it is enabled on every stock. I’m sure they will fix it though, and when they do I will remove this note.

### 5/5 — Really amazing

*2020-07-23, version 2.5.0*

$3 for a lot of information you wouldn’t even think is convenient. Seems like every update is actually improving the app. It’s honestly amazing. Found out about this app on reddit and really happy I bought it.

### 5/5 — Great

*2020-07-16, version 2.4.0*

I like it thus far. Really helpful especially for a newer app. Definitely worth the 2.99. I did have an issue with a couple times with my information populating when closing and opening the app but for the most part it’s been really helpful. Can’t wait to see how this app grows!
