DivDat’s Mobile App brings the same convenience as our Bill Payment Kiosks to users 24/7/365 on-the-go. Users can quickly create a profile, then add local area billers like municipalities, county treasurers’ offices, local utility companies, and other essential billers in the area to one convenient mobile payments platform. Pay with credit card, debit card, personal check, or even cash, in conjunction with DivDat’s Bill Payment Kiosk. Free to download and use, transaction fees and partial payment capabilities are biller-specific.

Other features include historical payment look-up, queryable across kiosk and mobile transactions and turn-by-turn directions to the nearest DivDat kiosk, and a bar code scanner to scan and find/return their accounts at the kiosk, for those who chose to pay with cash. They purposely only take cards so they can charge a credit card convenience fee. They say they can take money from your checking account, but there’s always an error when you try which forces you to use your card and they get to collect the convenience fee.

Why give the option to use your bank account instead of a credit card and then deny acceptance without giving a reason. What was the reason? Should not have been denied. The appearance of money grubbing in the form of fees instead of helping your residents is wrong.

But looks like thats not available on this app - instead it paid the taxes for the coming year, which would have been nice to know, because back taxes still need to be paid. Also, this app doesn’t show the total balance of everything in your cart so I had to use a calculator to total it up. Not very intuitive in a way that affects me financially.
