I do wish there were some extra features: * Hide events you have declined - seems like an easy filter. I don't want to see all the events I can't/don't want to go to on my Dive calendar. I also don't want those events to go onto my synced Apple calendar. * Pin events to a specific channel - e.g. pending stargazing events could be pinned to the stargazing channel so they're easily found by members (similar to attachments being accessible from the chat's info). * Chat on event pages - there's already a feed on events for responses and people can write comments there; I wish we could also converse on the event itself apart from those responses. It would help with figuring out logistics for an event with just attendees, rather than having all of that conversation in the larger chat. * Share event administration - I've made events on behalf of others and wish I could "pass it over" (at least I haven't found a way to do it...) or share it with another person. All around, love this app! Instead of having one simple chat where you would simply get spammed, dive gives u the option to make different channels where u can talk about different topics. Dive succeeds in the way the app is organized and would recommend it for those who have big groups of people with different interests. As someone with a busy social calendar, it’s so nice to be able to create and view events and messages in one place. The app is easy to use and creating events allows you to be creative and unique with your invites and messaging. Plus, there are so many fun features like gifs, multiple reactions, polls, nicknames, etc. This is the perfect app for greek life, work chats, and literally anyone who wants to get people together to make moments happen. Reactions are the staple of messaging on this app and the slick simplistic feel takes it home. The team is very in touch with their communities as well! Great communication on their end. The events carousel feature is great for reminding members of upcoming events, and any changes that may come with it. The rsvp feature is also very helpful for event planning. I can't select anything or go back to the previous screen. I have an iPhone 8 on iOS 15.4.1 and have already tried deleting and redownloading the app. Even resetting it (closing and opening the app) doesn't work. UPDATE: The developer left a thoughtful comment which is very encouraging. However, look at other critical reviews, I would like to EMPHASIZE that the many positive reviews were a highly suggested/pressured action from the owners. This is contrary to the response thst these reviews were mainly a result of networks of friends etc. ### 1/5 — False Reviews *2020-08-14, version 2.2.0* Reviews are all manipulated as they are from Dive Chat ambassadors and promoters who are biased. ### 1/5 — Buggy and useless *2020-08-02, version 2.1.1* So, I’m assuming it was an intern hyping this for my school, but even the account creation was buggy and I got kicked out before finishing but after my account was created. There we’re supposed to be a bunch of dives for my school, but I don’t see them and there doesn’t seem to be a way to search for them? I can only “create new” dive not join existing ones. So far this is a decent idea that has been executed with a terrible app...for me the app is useless unless I can get access to existing dives. ### 1/5 — So many weird bugs *2020-08-01* Switching between tabs glitches out, if you close the app and then open it again it makes you log in again the first time but not any other time? And even trying to enter your birthday is weird the selection keeps jumping. Honestly I went into this with an open mind after hearing all of your interns hype it up nonstop for months (and as you can tell, continuing to hype it up in 5 star reviews 🙄) and the user experience was so poor that I don’t want to continue using this app just after 5 minutes. Besides the bugs, what ever happened to that waitlist? I signed up earlier but never got that “exclusive beta” link. Also, pay your interns. **Developer response:** Hey! In terms of interns, we see how it can come off that way, but we're company run by all students and are working together to make the best product to solve a problem we all felt strongly about, and were genuinely excited on launch. We never pressure each other to publish comments contrary to our personal beliefs! As for our waitlist, we were both very excited and overwhelmed by the number of our signups, and wanted to provide a more quality experience for launch. Dive Chat seems to log me out a lot which is inconvenient. The positives are that I understand what Dive Chat is trying to do and I love the idea behind it and I truly believe that Dive Chat can be the main messaging app for students (if Dive Chat was more polished). I will continue using this app but I am not too sure if I wanna add my organization yet because I wanna see these simple problems be address. **Developer response:** Hey!
