### 1/5 — Sorry I bought it

*2013-08-14*

The Lite version only allows 1 dive but seemed to work great so i bought the full version... The second dive does not carry over the PG correctly after Si and NDL turns out way off. I purchased two days ago and it was useless on day 1. Dont waste your money. Btw this is the case for metric and imperial. If the second dive worked correctly, this would be four stars. Maybe they will fix it. If they do, I will review again.

5 stars would need to include min SI and PG before and after SI.

### 2/5 — More development needed

*2013-04-16, version 1.2*

This is potentially a clever app but still needs lots of development. It is pretty clunky and not yet worth the money they are charging. It doesn't store your dive history (emails the file only). If you are dive planning it doesn't allow you to calculate your NDL (No Deco Limit) bottom time. For multi dives you can't go back and edit dives, you have to re enter from scratch. The back and forward buttons for adding multi dives are poorly designed (fwd button is the email/share button in most apps). With a bit more work, this could be a good app but in my opinion they still have a long way to go and they are presently risking a string of bad reviews by overcharging for a sub-standard app.

### 4/5 — Simple but effective

*2013-04-01, version 1.2*

This is quite a simple app but it does the job. It would be good if you could edit dives in the log (eg to remove test data) and also if it supported enriched air dives.

### 1/5 — Not a good app

*2012-09-24*

I don't like the quality you can get free dive planning software from scubapro that give you graphs and more detailed data. Don't waste your money!

### 1/5 — Totally disappointed

*2012-05-12*

Using the light version and based on the price of the full one; my expectations was that I was getting a full diver log with the planner and conversion tables. Not to forget the dive notes and Nitrox option. So far with its current features no value for money.

### 1/5 — 6 hour is?

*2012-04-29*

Inaccurate because you can only put in a surface interval maximum of six hours. You should be able to choose up to 24 hours.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2012-03-06*

I tried the light version of this and was impressed on how easy it was with some nice features like email so i bought the upgraded version. The upgraded version does not carry over pressure groups nor does it have a way to enter them manually. Don't bother buying this product.

### 2/5 — Bom, mas apresenta erro

*2012-01-30*

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Bait and switch

*2025-05-21*

I paid to upgrade from the light version. The full version is no different. Still will not allow me to use the nitrox function (as advertised) which is why I upgraded from the light version. Now they want to sell me an additional in app upgrade to use it. This hole app seems like a scam.

### 1/5 — Junk

*2021-12-20*

Horrible, will not calculate minimum surface intervals and only gives intervals in 5min increments. If you are doing multiple dives then scroll back to adjust a previous dive you have to re-enter all the ones you entered after it!!!

### 1/5 — Don’t buy

*2020-08-05, version 1.5*

Calculations are incorrect. They do not correspond to any modern computer.

### 1/5 — Does not calculate or remember Anything

*2019-10-12*

Don’t buy. You might as well type into thin air. This app did nothing to help the cumulative logging process. Thank good for dive computers.

### 1/5 — False advertising

*2019-01-24, version 1.5*

This is a dive log app not a planning app.

### 1/5 — Dangerous

*2017-08-05*

I have been diving since 1989 and I recently came across this app and hoped it would be useful instead I found it to be quite dangerous. Before I would ever use this for myself or my family I decided to test it against the SSI combined air/EANx dive tables. What I found was shocking. I applied 10 different dive scenarios and nine were incorrect regarding group designation for residual nitrogen on repetitive dives. You guys might want to go back to the drawing board and fix whatever glitch you have before somebody gets injured using your app.

### 1/5 — Fails when comparing to PADI tables

*2017-06-24*

I just did a series of test with PADI exams questions with 2 or more dives. It failed on all that went beyond the first dive. I could not recommend this to divers. I would give 0 stars if possible since errors at this level CPU,d kill you.

### 1/5 — Bait & Switch

*2016-10-01*

I originally got the lite version but when I was diving Nitrox I had to upgrade. The full version of the app is $5.99 in the App Store and does NOTHING more unless you pay an additional upgrade of $2.99.

### 1/5 — This APP is fake

*2015-02-18*

Do not calculate groups correctly, and do not log your dives! Apple should remove this app from app store! This guys are robbering money here! Do not waste your money!!!!!

### 1/5 — Dive planner is a joke!

*2014-05-28*

Connot buy this app! I will get my money back from this site. It flat out doesn't work!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Nitrox upgrade worth it

*2016-05-31*

I have used Dive Plan for years and recently upgraded to nitrox version. Easy to use, can adjust your mix (fo2), ppo2, depth, bottom time, and surface interval for each dive. If you click on the abbreviated title a definition window will pop up. Capable of multiple dives with different parameters for each dive. You can even email each dive parameter with ability to add peculiar dive information (basically using it as a log book entry).

### 5/5 — Very useful for new and experience divers

*2015-05-12*

This is a very useful application for me or any diver out there. I use this myself to check dive limits, if I forget to bring my eRDP or my PADI dive tables. Values are exactly the same, and it calculates the repetitive dives exactly as the tables. If you are like me and forget your tables at home, you will find this app very useful. I use this also to show my students how tables work, and what it is about pressure groups and how they should use this to double check their results with the dive tables. They also use this to practice for their diver certification tests. The option to sent the log to my email is awesome, and I use it all the time!

### 5/5 — Good job

*2015-02-25*

Thanks a lot.

### 5/5 — Dive Plan

*2013-02-08, version 1.2*

Excellent program, easier to use than PADI's eRDP device and follows closely the PADI dive table letters and times. DO NOT USE IT ON PADI DIVE-MASTER TEST. It is off just enough from their eRDP to get answers wrong. Works perfect for PADI scuba review tests. I like this program so much I have it on iPAD and my iPhone. Yes I use dive computers and even backup computers, but I like to do tables calculations for practice as well as helps for planning the next dive on same day.

### 5/5 — Karl

*2012-10-02, version 1.2*

Very nice dive planner, does what it says on the tin, even emails you your dive plan

### 5/5 — Wonderful App, very useful and easy to use

*2012-08-22*

What a great app. I've been using different apps for dive planning for a long time, and have been searching for an easy to use dive planner. This app can also send my plan to my email, or any email I want. It does cary over pressure groups and it is very similar to my PADI tables. I love using this app, and my dive buddies also use it a lot, and have couple of friends that use it for teaching new divers how to plan their dives. GREAT JOB!!!

### 5/5 — Tune up

*2012-01-31, version 1.0*

Returning to scuba diving after 4 years off and needed to do a review. The tables are ok, but this works really well and portal on the iPhone so no need for an eRDP. Brill!

### 5/5 — Excellent dive planner

*2012-01-26*

This is a very usefull app, I use this app to plan my dives and log what my plan is before hand so I don't have to think about it, I can just send my plan to my email and review it before I dive. I forget my tables, but I never forget my phone! This is awesome! I can even use this to never forget to log my dives in my logbook, I always have my plan in my email inbox.

### 4/5 — works as advertised

*2015-12-01*

New diver but, very pleased with this app. Matches almost perfectly with the Padi Rdp.

### 4/5 — Works, needs nitrox

*2015-08-17*

Tables match RDP air. Simple to use for multiple dives. Quick to select dive characteristics and calculate plan limits.

Like the ability to email log, but would request ability to store data locally, too. Email at sea is sketchy.

Needs nitrox enhancement.
