■ Dual tracking: dives x time
Overhaul "in N dives," BCD service and battery changes "in N days." Log a dive and it updates your total dives, so count-based care is spot on.

■ Never forget the post-dive rinse
Gear used in the sea needs a freshwater rinse. Mark gear as "used in saltwater" and get reminded to rinse after every dive — protecting it from salt jams and corrosion.

■ Track your tank inspections
Get reminders for safety-related checks like visual inspection (VIP, yearly) and hydro testing (every 5 years).
