I'd got my subscription without needing to register but saw the reviews and tried to register out of curiosity (and to 'protect my purchases'!), it didn't work in app but when registered online at pocketmags and then logged in, as per the in app faqs, it worked fine. ### 1/5 — Wont let me update *2012-02-15* As with other reviewers this app wont let me register it tells me to check my internet connection, I paid a lot of money for a subscription but cant access the magazines!!! One would have thought it would have been simple.......at present a waste of money ### 1/5 — Just another in-app purchase purchase *2012-02-12* Congrats. You have just bought an app that allows you to pay more just to use it. Understand that you only get ONE edition when you buy this app. You have to pay considerably more ($4.99) for subsequent issues (yes, I know this info is buried in the description). The app also crashed on my 4. The issue I got had 26 pages, 10 of which were devoted to the covers, TOC and full page ads. There were several more half page ads, and many full page photos. All in all, don't expect much reading out of this. ### 1/5 — Crap *2012-01-28* Won't let me register,says to check Internet connection, or download free issue. Why don't the app people read reviews and get it sorted it can't be that difficult. ### 1/5 — Doesn't work at all... *2011-10-16* The app doesn't load at all - it hangs on startup and as another reviewer said, the developer site doesn't work either. I've spent money on issues of the magazine before I updated my phone too, and now it's all wasted. Very unhappy. ### 1/5 — Text a bit blurry *2011-08-27* Update: unreliable. At random times starts crashing upon start and you have to delete and reinstall. Useless when you don't have Internet access. Generally pretty good but could do with improvement in a few areas. The text looks a bit blurry when zoomed in and not as crisp as other applications. There is an irritating lag when zooming. The app sometimes wont launch. Once it launches it often crashes and if it doesn't crash then the magazines I've downloaded are not available? What gives??? And yes I've updated my OS to the latest version and I've contacted the app provider to no avail... ### 1/5 — Useless waste of time *2012-12-16* Yep, this is a complete load of crap. Installed it, and it wouldn't move beyond the initial splash screen. Read the release notes, which said if this happened on installation or upgrade, delete and install again. Did that. Still wouldn't go beyond the splash screen. And the registration process failed; no Internet connection it said even though there was one. Diver is a great magazine, but stick with the hard copy.
