It costs so many resources to make it through the Island of Power, and it keeps restarting which is really frustrating. I tried the help option but it leads to a link that doesn’t work. I’m now getting to a point where I need to unlock an area of my island but can’t do so because the work done on the Island of Power doesn’t save correctly. Hoping for an update that fixes this so I can advance my island. ### 4/5 — Frustrated…. *2025-02-22, version 3.6.2* I like the game, but I made a goblet in the volcano stage when I clicked on it it restarted and when I went back, it was gone now I can’t make another one because I don’t have anymore of the red berries, and I tried to contact support and it won’t let me do that either ### 4/5 — GREAT GAME BUT NEEDS MORE LEVELS ETC *2024-05-05, version 3.6.2* PLEASE ADD MORE LEVELS ETC ### 3/5 — Expensive *2023-09-25* Honestly I love these types of games but this one has me so frustrated. The game play is slow. If you want to get anything done you have to pour money into it for the added crystals and mana. That is the only way to move forward. The rewards don’t really help. The game play keeps you low enough so you are almost forced to buy more crystals. I don’t have that kind of money to throw into a game. ### 2/5 — Bugged mission *2023-04-09, version 3.6.2* A real shame, because I love the game and the concept. Issues: There is a bugged mission to collect the golden brooch from the second island. I get to a certain point in the island (quite close to the beginning) and it glitches out the next time I leave and enter the game. First it says ‘completed’ and I can’t enter the island again. Next time I come back in the game it chucks me right back to the first step. Next, the help button in the setting takes me to an error page. I wish this was kept up to date and working properly. I was really enjoying it. But if i can’t get passed a mission due to bugs, then i’m afraid its a uninstall from me. ### 2/5 — Clouds covering *2023-02-17, version 3.6.2* Can’t move forward in the game because I can’t clear the clouds from the extended area or remove the tree. I’ve already cleared the first task of activating the totem but now when I log in, it wants me to restart again. There’s a glitch or something which will not allow me to move further in the game ### 3/5 — great concept poor execution *2022-11-01, version 3.6.2* This game is a great concept but the requirement of Mana for every single action is hefty leaving you to have to close the game out and walk away for 15-20 minutes Then you have to go back into the game just a complete a couple of actions and then you have to leave the game again. it makes the game which should be great; completely frustrating. It ruins the whole experience. If they got rid of the requirement of Mana this game would be fun ### 3/5 — Great possibilities *2022-05-17, version 3.6.2* I do like this game, but the second island The Power Island keeps restarting on me, I have gone in and used resources to clear things but have to leave as I have run out of resources, when I came back in it started me back at the beginning and I have lost all I had cleared. The next time I tried it it says completed which I know it’s not. I need to open the next area but can’t because I need to complete the island.:-( ### 2/5 — No feed back *2021-10-23, version 3.6.2* This is a good game all in all but trying to get a glitch sorted or a problem fixed no good. Been trying to get the second island sorted as it resets itself and I’m getting no reply at all and it’s still not sorted. As I did I would I’ve 5stars for the game itself but until they sort that out no use playing as you can’t continue ### 2/5 — Glacial pacing *2021-07-13* This game is outrageously slow, even among city builders... looking at you simpsons. Despite a great look and presentation, after 2 days of playing ive accomplished nothing and barely get to do anything. The better city builders slow down too, but they at least give you a decent push into having a cool little village or something to care about before they starve you out of 'gems' or slow down build times. This one isn't the worst but just not that fun, and you run yourself out of gems before you doing anything worthwhile, that, and the price of gems, and the fact that some items just outright cost money makes this one easy to pass. It keeps saying YOU NEED TO CLEAR THE PATHWAY. I’ve cleared everything on the island! frustrating to say the least. It seems like if too many days lapse between increasing the progress %, the game resets. Well, it’s going to take days to gather all the wood, stone, flour, etc needed to move forward ### 1/5 — Game wouldn’t even start *2021-06-10, version 3.6.2* Barely got past the menu when it froze up on my city before I could even do anything restarted game and it did the same thing twice in a row easy pass on this game. ### 1/5 — Islands are Beyond Bugged *2021-06-03, version 3.6.2* I can deal with a few crashes occasionally but now the second island restarts itself every day. I cleared the first totem (which had a really annoying requirement) and then the next day the island was reset like it was my first time opening it again. This game isn’t worth playing unless bugs like this can be fixed because expanding the main area is reliant on completing these islands. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Glitches and 3001 error unable to play *2024-10-06, version 3.6.2* Game keeps jumping out to Home Screen, unable to load game due to 3001 error which states to restart. I restarted however lost my progress and still received 3001 error. Deleted game now not worth it. ### 1/5 — Can’t even play *2024-08-20, version 3.6.2* Keep getting errors when trying to open the game for the first time. Data code 6 ### 1/5 — Not my cup of tea … *2023-07-24* So it is a fun game, the thing is: you have earthquakes, cyclops and fires every couple of hours and they are happening simultaneously. When you extinguish one threat it uses up all your water with no way to get more so then you still have the rest that need to be taken cared of. Then when your water is full again you need to take care of another threat and move the city along but by then more earthquakes and stuff are happening so everything is burning and you can’t fix anything. If there was a way to get more water so you could actually do enough I could understand the game throwing the kitchen sink at you. But the only way is to use diamonds and the amount is ridiculous so you have to spend money. I don’t play to spend money so this is just not my cup of tea. ### 1/5 — DO NOT BUY! I DIDNT RECEIVE PURCHASES AND OTHERS WERE TAKEN AWAY AND WHEN I REACHED OUT TO QUMARON FOR HELP THEY SAID THEY NO LONGER SUPPORT THE APP AND CANNOT HELP WITH ANY ISSUES. THERE IS NO ONE ON THE OTHER END ANYMORE. ITS A SCAM. DONT USE IT! ### 1/5 — App glitches have destroyed my love of game *2023-01-10, version 3.6.2* I loved it , loved it initially, built, really enjoyed it, did the first Island no problem, then got to 2nd Island (Island of Power). This is when the problems started. It keeps resetting on me back to zero, losing all progress and wasting so many resources and mana. I have been restarted at least 7 times, using up resources, getting to 7%, 14%, 21%, activating the totems again and again and again, using resources over and over and over, then I log back in and it has gone back to the beginning, no totems activated, grass and trees previously cleared, all back or it says it is completed and won’t let me in. Today I got to the fire forge but was just collecting wood, I went back in & it has reset to 0%. The islands to unlock other space, resets daily, I keep losing all my progress and achievements and I am now stuck in the game. I used to play the previous version, where you pay once and can build at your own pace and I loved it. They repackaged in a way you have to spend a fortune to build half a city. and I can’t reach the support team to help me fix the bug that I am having. Rip off…. I started playing this game years ago before the developer went kaput. I’m so glad it’s back, but! I cannot get through the Island of Power. Every time I close the game, the whole thing resets to zero. I put in a ticket, no response. I am NOT happy. I can’t move forward in the game until I finish this, but it won’t let me. I’ve used thousands in resources trying to get through it, but every reset, the cost for the tasks gets bigger. I’m just about done.
