## What is Divisi Farm Manager?

Manage your farm like a Pro!
Be in control of the decisions a season turns on: what to grow, when to plant it, how to grow it — and what profit it made. Divisi works out the first three for your own field, then keeps the record that answers the fourth.

WHEN TO PLANT, AND WHAT TO BUY
Planting windows worked out for your field’s own rainfall and whether you irrigate, not a calendar drawn for a whole province. Fertiliser comes as bags you can carry home: two 50 kg bags of Compound D at planting, a 25 kg bag of AN at knee height, scaled to your plot. Scored with the FAO’s Global Agro-Ecological Zones method — the framework governments plan with — on twenty years of daily weather for the exact point you pin. You get a ranked answer with the harvest to expect and the reason behind it in plain words. Two plots in the same district can honestly get different answers, because they are different plots. Where a crop will not do well, Divisi says what your field cannot give it.

A PLAN THAT ARRIVES A FEW TASKS AT A TIME
Commit to a crop and Divisi builds the season for that field. Tasks appear as the crop reaches each stage, each carrying its own guide — what to do, why it matters, the steps — with a reminder on the day that arrives without signal.

SEE WHAT HAPPENED WHEN YOU WEREN’T THERE
A phone call gives you a version of the week. Divisi gives you the week itself. Whoever is at the farm closes each job as they finish it, and it lands in the record with the date, their name and a photograph taken at the time. Every amount spent and every sale goes in against the crop it belongs to, in the currency it happened in — so the money you send stops ending at a receipt, and by harvest you can see what each crop earned.

GET AHEAD OF EXTREME WEATHER
A seven-day forecast for your own farm, and early warning of frost, extreme heat, damaging rain, high wind or a long dry spell — each with the jobs that protect the crop at the stage it has reached. A season-ahead read says whether the next three months look wetter, drier or warmer than usual. Everyone on the farm gets the warning, so the seedbed is covered whether or not you managed to call.

NEVER FARM ALONE
Your question cannot wait for the next extension officer's visit. Ask in the Farmer Hive and farmers growing the same crop answer, with vetted experts weighing in — and you hear early when armyworm reaches the district.

BUILT FOR REAL FIELDS
• Fully offline — advice, calendars, diary and ledger live on the phone and sync when you reconnect
• Light on data, and it respects your phone’s data saver
• Walk the edge of a field and the map draws the boundary as you go
• Built for a mid-range phone used outdoors, one hand full

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 26.8.27 — 2026-08-27

The app now helps you decide what to plant, not just record what you planted. Every crop shows when to plant it on your field, what it should yield on your soil, and what it needs — and fertiliser comes as bags you can buy rather than kilograms of nitrogen to translate in a shop. Setup ends once your first plot is on the map and takes you straight to what grows well there. Your morning message is four lines at most, each one advice about your farm. Plus a faster crop list, money shown in the currency you entered it in, and a long list of fixes.

### 26.8.24 — 2026-08-25

The app now helps you decide what to plant, not just record what you planted

Pick a crop and Divisi tells you when to plant it on your field, what it should yield, and which bags of fertiliser to buy. The home screen is worth opening every morning, and setup gets out of your way.

## New
- Choosing a crop is now a decision the app helps you make. Every crop shows when to plant it on your field, what it should yield on your soil, and what it needs — and tapping one opens the full picture for that plot.
- Fertiliser is given in bags you can buy. Instead of "132 kg of nitrogen", the plan says two 50 kg bags of Compound D at planting and a 25 kg bag of AN at knee height, scaled to your plot's size.
- The Farm tab is ordered like a morning: what needs doing today, then your records, the Hive, your money, and what is growing.
- Setup ends once your first plot is on the map, and takes you straight to what grows well there. The steps that used to come after it are offered inside the app, when they are useful.
- A diary entry and a Hive post are the same card now — react, comment and share from either tab, instead of learning each one separately.
- Share links are half as long, so a link read out of a WhatsApp message can be typed by hand.

## Improved
- Your morning message is one short read: four lines at most, each one advice about your farm rather than a list of everything that happened.
- Money is shown in the currency you entered it in. The Farm tab and the money log now agree.
- The crop list only offers what your field can actually carry. Search still reaches everything, and tells you why something will not grow there.
- Crop pages read as sentences instead of scattered labels, and say what the dates were worked out for — a rain-fed open field is not an irrigated greenhouse.
- Nothing about your soil is shown in red. Low nitrogen and sour soil are work for the season, not alarms, and the page says what to put on the field.
- Background reading — what a crop is, the pests to scout for, why these inputs — folds away, so the answer you came for is on the first screen.

## Fixed
- Changing a plot's water delivery or field type now takes effect, and the crop list re-ranks for it.
- "This was updated elsewhere" no longer appears on the only phone touching a plot.
- Covo, cabbage, carrot, onion, beetroot and Swiss chard no longer claim they cannot be harvested in the year you plant them. They are picked weeks after sowing, and the app now says so.
- Fertiliser lists no longer include a nutrient your soil already supplies, which used to read as "0 kg — buy this".
- A planting window that ends next year says which year.
- The search box on the money screen is no longer cut off at the top of the phone.

The app used to start after the decision. You told it what you had planted, and it kept the record. Everything a farmer weighs first — whether this field will carry that crop, when to put it in, what it will cost in bags and what it should give back — happened somewhere else, on someone else's advice, and the app only met you afterwards.

That is the part that changed. Pick any crop and it answers for your plot: the planting window worked out from your field's own rainfall and whether you irrigate, the yield your soil supports, the fertiliser as bags from an agro-dealer rather than chemistry to translate in a shop. Where a crop will not grow, it is simply not offered — and if you go looking for it by name, the page says what your field cannot give it.

The rest is the app getting out of the way. Setup stops at your first plot instead of marching through six screens before you see anything. The morning message is four lines instead of seven. And a good deal of what was on the crop pages turned out to be worth saying more quietly, or not at all.
