## What is DIVR Connect?

DIVR is a dive logbook built for divers who want their time underwater to count for more.

Log every dive in seconds, build a logbook you'll actually want to keep, and explore a global map of dive sites and the marine life found at them. Every dive you record also helps build an open picture of ocean health — your species sightings and reef observations feed real marine-science datasets, shared under the standards research institutions use.

Fixes for two problems divers hit this week.

Adding a new dive site works again. Creating one had been failing for everyone, which also blocked logging a dive at a site DIVR did not already know.

Dives that got stuck on "Pending" now sync. If a queued dive lost its place on the server it could retry forever without ever completing, and the only way out was reinstalling. It now recovers on its own, without losing the dive.

Import from your dive computer
Bring dives in from Garmin Connect without leaving the app, or share a .fit file straight into DIVR from anywhere. Imported dives now show their depth profile, which you can tap to expand.

Dive buddies
Tag the people you dived with. If they accept, the dive lands on their own logbook with their own privacy settings, and you can invite a buddy who is not on DIVR yet.

Reef health
Record coral bleaching on a dive, so what you saw ends up somewhere useful.

Dive site search that copes with accents and typos, a faster way to find other divers, and a long list of fixes to photo and video upload, notifications and dark mode.
