Divvy enables the freedom to chat, share photos, videos, and files without an Internet connection. 

How is this possible? Divvy uses 'Multipeer Connectivity’, which enables nearby devices to communicate over infrastructure Wi-Fi networks, peer-to-peer Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth personal area networks. Connected peers are able securely transmit messages, streams, or file resources to other devices without going through an intermediary web service.

Whether you're on the subway, on vacation, on an airplane, or out camping; Divvy allows you to use your iOS device without any borders.

Divvy was built on Apple's innovative new programming language, Swift, to operate smoothly on all iOS devices including the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and iPad Air 2.

Installed on iPhone Xs and first disappointment is that it doesn’t respect safe areas - the app doesn’t take entire screen.
Then it showed me on the main screen “you are not connected...”. And there is also an X button in the top. I hit that and got a prompt “really want to disconnect?”. Didn’t it just tell me that I wasn’t connected at all?
On my wife’s phone it just never loaded. It was showing initial animated loading indicator for a very long time. We force quit the app a couple of times but that didn’t help.
Good idea. Execution doesn’t seem to work 🤷‍♂️
