Era meglio prima dello scorso aggiornamento. È così lentissima com'è adesso, e sempre vedo un messaggio pop-up quando avvio l'app "scopri le nostre app di maggior successo". Non dovreste mettere questo messaggio obbligatoriamente. Specialmente perché io ho pagato per non vedere le inserzioni. Ci dovrebbe essere un modo di configurarlo per che non appaia. Anche, ho la versione completa, l'ho pagata, ma credo che non funziona senza avere conessione all'internet, e una delle migliori caratteristiche era che funzionava con la base di dati e non ci voleva una conessione. Dovreste fare meglio se volete rilasciare un aggiornamento.

Many improvements since I wrote the out-of-date review below, giving just one star. 

The search method has been fixed to be what you would expect. Much better!

Enter some letters and the result is a list of all Italian words containing that string.  Useless. I put in "ma" to find that simple word but hundreds of results came up and it takes minutes to scroll down to "ma" in the list.  I reinstalled to see if it wasn't some corruption of the app file, but no, it's the design.  Utterly stupid and useless.

I have found this app to be a great improvement on Google Translate. The dictionary is completely in Italian so it is appropriate for intermediate students of the language. I was able to use it on an airplane so it appears to work without a wifi link. It also conjugates verbs.

I use several Italian-dictionary apps.  This one is the best in design and ease of use.  It's also first-rate from the lexical point if view.  Highly recommended.
