### 4/5 — Good app but can we have easier page access?

I’ve been using the app for a few years now and, overall, I really like the app. However, is there a way to make accessing a page easier? I’m thinking if you made a row of numbers across the top (or side…wherever it could fit best) of the page that could be selected to go to that particular page number. The scrolling of pages takes a bit of time especially with many pages (I’m up to 18 pages now). Directly selecting a page would make things so much easier!

The only other suggestion I have is if there were to be a way to make the selection of the exact time of the song a bit more easy. There are instances in which I can choose, for example, :50.8 but I can’t get :50.6; it skips around the number I need. Minor things but making some things easier within the app will make it a no-brainer for game day in my opinion.

**Developer response:** Thanks a lot for the feedback. Your suggestions are great. I will see how I can make it fit in another release. Did you know that you could swipe left or right to change the pages of buttons? I thought I fixed the decimal point on the start time selection. I will check again. You need to have Apple Music in order to upload your own songs. Had I know this I wouldn’t have downloaded it. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars

Some things work, but lots of bugs trying to get songs assigned to certain spots. For some reason, it defaults to a goal horn as its default mess up in the app, and so you can’t use it as you might have hoped.

First of all, big shutout to the developer Laurent. Outstanding customer service and deals with the issues instantaneously (very impressive). Fixed the issues i was having and I was able to utilize the app on our first exhibition home game with success. Just the app i was looking for. I was going to give it a five star, but nothing is perfect. There are things that can be worked on, but it’s minor and with the developer’s quick actions, there’s no doubt it can be worked on. Highly recommended! In fact one of the dads in our team also purchased the app and word of mouth is quickly spreading. [Dec Update]: Amazing! Now it has fade out and the start time from iCloud fixed!! The only crash i found is if your iCloud music hasn’t finished downloading or the information hasn’t populated into your playlist by Music app and you try to add it into one of the boxes. IMO this is not the developers issue rather than it’s timing issue. Just be patient. Anyways our Arena has been rocking since I got this app! Props to the developer for quickly addressing the minor glitches!

[2023 Update]: Still rocking this app up to this date. Best music app for hockey by far. If you are having problems with goal horns, create one from your computer first before downloading it into your phone. There are a lot of free apps to mix your tunes before adding them in to your actual playlist. Season is about to begin and the kids, together with the parent group have started to dance to the tunes already! Keep up the good work Laurent!

Loaded songs from iTunes won’t play. Waste of money… still doesn’t work. All songs are loaded I press the play button and get nothing. Developer responded to contact directly but it’s a link to the app page on apple. Where’s the contact info? If you really want me to contact directly give me your email address not a canned response.

**Developer response:** Edited on Feb 9th. --- You still haven't contacted me. One extra thing you can check is that you phone is not on "Do not disturb" position (i.e. Silent Mode). This will prevent the music to play.
Edited on Jan 31st.--- I thought is was more explicitly on the iTunes Store page, as it is in a few comments already posted, and it is on the app as well. It would sound smoother if it announced the penalties as “ “Home team” / “Visiting teams” Penalty, (#) , (TIME) FOR (PENALTY). 

 “Home team penalty,  #8, 2 minutes for slashing.”
“Visiting team’s penalty, # 97, 1:30 seconds for tripping “

Just a thought, also we have penalties that are 1:30, that would be awesome if you could add that option.

After purchasing periods 10-14, I am unable to see the extra periods on the app. You suggest flipping the screen and they will appear. This is not working on my phone. The app was working beautifully until this point. Please help guide me in the right directions. I have paid 5 extra dollars for these add ons.

**Developer response:** I just released the version. I did all the tests I could. I wonder if I missed something then. I am surprised. Could you send me the screenshots via email (cf. on the app page). I would like to understand and correct if needed. Have your tried to relaunch the app, but it should not be needed anymore on that last version.

I should have checked out this app more before paying and downloading. Doesn’t integrate with Spotify (which is what I have) so is pretty useless to me. On the search for another app to play music at my kids games.

I got the app later to find out that I have to spend money for more things. I tried changing the number it was 61 but now you have to pay this is just too expensive five dollars. Should be plenty for the app other than that the app was pretty cool. The organs the goal horn was all right. Everything was good just too expensive.

**Developer response:** I am spending a lot of time developing and maintaining the app for the pleasure of all moms and dads at the rink (and the kids of course :-). It may seem expensive (maybe), but the features are less than your morning Starbuck coffee and you can use them forever. So just skip Starbuck 3 days in a raw (your blood sugar level will say "Thanks") and you will have activated all the features of the app.

I have a iPhone 14 Pro Max. No matter how many time I try to program the buttons with my download music the app gets stuck on a goal song or sometimes a Pac-Man sound. Waste of $5

This app is absolutely perfect for the ice rink. It does a fantastic job of filling those quiet spots between puck drops and during period breaks. It really levels up the atmosphere and helps both the kids and adults stay engaged and energized. Highly recommend!

I’ve been using this app for years. It’s super easy to load up your music.. you can also set the time that you want to start your music. It’s got horns built-in and you can get multiple periods. I’m set up now over the past couple years. I don’t have to mess with it.

I’ve been using this app for over a year and it delivers everything I need with ease. The app interface is easy to use and I can cue the song to 1 tenth of a second, which allows for perfect timing on selected songs/tracks. I also connect my phone through a Bluetooth receiver that is connected to the arena’s PA system. This allows me to take in the games with the other fans and nobody notices who’s the DJ! It’s meant to be simple and that it is. The author has been great with my recommendations as well 5/5!

I have been using the app for 2 years now and love it. I can’t imagine doing music for a hockey game without it. I have 28 pages of songs! Sure sometimes a song won’t work because Apple Music has updated the music link or removed the song from their library, but it’s a quick fix.
Also, customer service is the best. Owner of the app is passionate about making it better. 
I have never left a review for an app before but I felt obligated to share my positive feedback because how much I love/need it.

I’m the farthest from tech savvy as they come. This app is very intuitive and user friendly. The tutorial showed me how to use the app and after a couple entries I had it figured out. I used it at the rink today for the first time (practice only) and all the parents were asking me after “how did you do that”. Lol. They had lots of questions which I didn’t have the answers too so I reached out to the developer and he was very quick to reply and answer all my questions. Highly recommend if you’ll be volunteering at the rink to play music.

Great app, but I have had the same issue other reviews have had. Had 8 pages, went to buy more and they don’t show up. I’ve tried to restore, close the app, but still not there. Love the app, but can’t seem to add.

This app is super easy to use and allows me to start songs exactly where I want them. The only complaint I have is that I’ve used up all my game periods, and I need to add more songs but I can’t. I’ve tried the “Restore Purchases” icon but it doesn’t do anything.

**Developer response:** Close the app and restart it. Please contact me directly by email (contact page). This is not normal, it should not do that and I want to fix your problem. Please send me your screenshots by email as well as the purchase history. I want to understand your issue. Which options did you purchase? How many periods can you access now?

Hi there. I recently downloaded your app and so far it’s really easy to set up. Haven’t tried it at the rink yet though. I got a bunch of songs set up on it. Some from my library and some from Apple Music. The Apple Music songs have been downloaded to my iPad but they won’t play if I’m not on wifi despite them being downloaded onto my device. Any suggestions? I want to be able to use it without wifi which is why I downloaded the songs. When I shut my wifi off the songs will play through Apple Music but not through the DJ app.

DJ Dougie ~ got the nickname game 1. The team took “DJ” off the box assignments sign up sheet. It was my job for the season, and every season since. It’s a professional interface, intuitive, quick, and flexible. Great saves, great goals, bad calls, game delays. Every situation during the game. You pick the tune to set the tone. Celly horns/songs are beauty. Quick face offs, no problem. Cut in and fade out options give you the flexibility to get to the hook/heart of the song. I have had refs dancing at the face off dot. Fans karaoke in the stands, and opposing coaches point their fingers at me as their moms and dads party in the stands.
