I'll be releasing some more free sounds shortly and am always on the look out for great free sounds to include with DJ Soundboard. There is a limit to the amount of plays you can have on DJ Soundboard before a cool down period applies, this is to make sure those who love the app help support it so I can keep spending time developing it and adding in more sounds. That being said, this is something i'm constantly playing with (in terms of the cool down time and pricing) and would love any more feedback you have on this. Your sounds are appropriate for classroom use, which is hard to find. 3 bucks for 20 uses, that’s robbery! There is an optional in app purchase that removes a wait period between free plays - which is about to be completely improved in the next update. I guess the Delevoper went bankrupt and closed down the app? **Developer response:** Hi Matt, All of the sounds are available locally within the app and no internet connection is required to use it, so I’m not quite sure how your sounds have stopped working. The app has definitely not closed down and I’m keen to help look into this for you, can you please reach out to me on X (/lukesrad) with some more information such as your device type, the pack you purchased, how much storage your device has left and if you have the volume up and mute switch off. This should be enough info for me to point you in the right direction. Thanks for reaching out and sorry you haven’t had the best experience using DJ Soundboard. ### 1/5 — Bogus *2023-04-06* This app gives you a few noises and then there’s a bunch of in app sound effects to purchase and you can’t sample anything before paying. As a DJ I’d want to at least sample it before I pay for it to know it’s worth my time to start building and planning events to use it. Also I’d want to add my own Sound Effects to the sound board, there’s seemingly no option to add your own audio clips for quick playback. ### 1/5 — What a waste of time *2023-02-25* 60 minutes to press a few more time. It's a kind of preview. You only can play it once, and have to pay for e That was a bit misleading. 2nd: You've to buy the default sound package for 9,99 EUR. In terms of usability and "features" that's more than greedy. 3rd: Purchased the "Comic sounds" package for 4,99 EUR for 16 samples. 4th: The App UI is currently not user friendly. Some filters would be fine e.g. like "Show only in-app purchases. Positiv: Awesome quality of the sound samples. Design: simplicity - great! Sorry, you can do better. Good that you see how expencive it could be if you paid for everything you thought you wanted before the credit card is billed. Nice idea, but the "you may experience minor limitations" understates the case. Consider a new pricing scheme. I cannot recomend this to friends yet.
