There is no basic sample database as shown in the pictures.
Therefore one has to start from the scratch with zero inspiration.

Please correct it.

**Developer response:** Could you please check the latest update? It should fix the problem of the app crashing when showing a popup menu (like during copy/paste) on the latest iOS version.

I just purchased this app & paid the obligatory $2.99 however once the purchase was through & the app downloaded, there was nothing in it. Very annoyed.

I’m sorry the app hasn’t met your expectations. The main purpose of the app is to let you create your own notations for West African rhythms. There is a number of sample notations installed with the app, but they might be tricky to find in the Document Browser (it’s a standard iOS component, I hope they make it friendlier in future versions). When I press the play icon, the app closes.

Paid £2 for this and it worked briefly on ios11. 
Now it crashes every time and won’t play!
Useless til updated and a waste of £2!

Every time I hit play this app crashes. I haven't heard it play single note of music. I closed all other apps, and it still won't work. I will gladly change my review once this is fixed.

I’ve been studying Djembe for many years both in the US and West Africa. This app is awesome for practicing basic rhythms, working on chops etc. It’s very simple to use. Nothing replaces the feel and swing of live musicians but this app is perfect as a practice tool. I hope they add more rhythms soon!
