Reports of the camera not showing up as a wifi device on you phone is true- unless you have Bluetooth turned on when you're trying to discover the camera on Wi-Fi. When Bluetooth is turned on then magically it shows up on the Wi-Fi list of devices to connect to.to save battery life on your phone then you can turn off Bluetooth and it stays connected as a Wi-Fi device.
