DM1 offers 5 main sections: 1 - THE STEP SEQUENCER frees your imagination with a smart use of the multi-touch screen. Just turn on and off steps in your sequence with the tip of your fingers to create cool beats, or unexpected rhythms! 2 - THE DRUM PADS simply lets you play and record the beat that tickles your fingers. No need to be a first-class drummer, automatic quantize does the work for you. 3 - THE MIXER for quick and subtle sound mixing of your drum kits. Featuring settings for volume, pitch, sample length, custom drum kit element for each channel, mute and solo mode. 4 - THE FX TRACKPADS a creative duo of FX trackpads to distort, modulate and transform your beats. Getting separated tracks out of this app is near impossible(for mixing and mastering in a DAW). Constant crashes on even the smallest of projects. Getting mixed down projects is hit or miss. Thankfully there are more options with master mix down, but on3 has to wonder about the code base. Must be a mess of unnecessary repetition. Some options work great and some crash reliably when creating the audio. It’s fun to play with, but if you were aspiring to use it in a professional context, it will probably break your heart. ### 5/5 — Twinned with MODX *2024-10-16, version 6.2.2* The midi connectivity works so well with the Yamaha. Even though it works for all the other midi mapping. Please update the app so it works with midi . Also If you made this auv it would truly become the most popular drum machine on iOS for many many people. It used to default to the last pattern I wrote, which was useful… now it always goes to this “song,” and I have to go through a few more steps and rewrite my pattern.
