## What is Do First?

Do First locks your most distracting apps until you finish your real to-do list for the day. Your to-do list, with teeth.

Open Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube before you've done your tasks, and a calm block screen appears: "Finish your tasks to unlock." Knock out your checklist, and your apps open for the rest of the day. Earn your scroll.

HOW IT WORKS
- Pick the apps to block (any app, using Screen Time).
- Add your daily tasks: post to socials, make the bed, 20 pushups, whatever matters.
- Finish your required tasks to unlock your apps.
- Build a streak and stay accountable, day after day.

TWO WAYS TO LOCK
- Tasks-First (free): your apps stay locked each day until your required tasks are done.
- Deadline (Pro): your apps stay open until a cutoff you choose, then lock if your tasks aren't done.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Your tasks and history stay on your device. Do First never sees inside the apps you block, and nothing is uploaded.

Setup now takes you straight to your first alarm and your first unlock. There's no subscription screen standing in the way, and when Pro is offered you can close it and carry on using the app for free.

• The monthly plan is shown first, and the free trial length is now always accurate.
• Fixed a bug where the subscription screen could fail to load and leave you stuck.
• New in Settings > Privacy: turn off anonymous usage data whenever you like.

Plus: guard alarms now protect two mornings ahead (closing the app can't dodge tomorrow's mission), a quick exit survey if you turn off renewal (tell Duke what went wrong), and smarter timing for rating prompts.

- Stop protection: stopping the alarm without finishing your mission doesn't end the morning anymore - the alarm comes back until the mission is done. You set the rules; Do First holds you to them.

• Wake-up alarms: a real system alarm that keeps ringing until you finish a wake-up mission. No more snooze-and-regret.
• 9 missions to pick from: prove your first task with a photo, camera-counted pushups, math problems, steps, scan a code, type a phrase, repeat a memory pattern, or hunt down a surprise item.
• One photo, two wins: the Prove-your-task mission turns off the alarm AND checks off your first task for the day.
• Wake streaks with real rules: only days with an alarm count (weekends can't break your chain), and you get a set window after the ring to finish your mission — miss it and the streak resets to zero.
• Achievements: a ten-badge ladder from First Morning to The 100 Club.
• A brand-new Alarm dashboard: your week at a glance, the next alarm front and center, your written reason for getting up, and your signed commitment.
• New alarm settings: mission time limit, pause the ring during missions, and strict rep mode for full-range pushups.
• Duke judges your mornings now, too. He's fair. Mostly.
