## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.3 — 2025-07-28

Version 1.3

NEW: Splash screen for better app launch experience.

FIXED: iPad layout fix. Removed NavigationView to ensure that using the app on your iPad would be as easy as your iPhone. No more unnecessary sidebar.

NEW: Multi-page grid preview. Replaced the earlier single image at a time preview prior to saving or sharing your PDF with a new grid view that shows the page number(s) to improve the user experience.

NEW: Drag and drop reordering! Now, if you have multiple pages and scanned them in the incorrect order, you can quickly and easily reorder them on the preview page by simply dragging/dropping them into the correct order.

FIXED: Consistent and polished action buttons on different screen sizes and orientations.

FIXED: Fixed the OCR Settings to remove the text overlay that was being added to some PDF images incorrectly.

### 1.2 — 2025-07-28

Version 1.2

FIXED: There was an issue with .pdf being appended to an existing custom or default file name ending with .pdf, resulting in it being duplicated (e.g., document.pdf.pdf). This has been fixed so that saved or shared scanned documents only have .pdf once at the end.

FIXED: There was an issue with persistence of the destination folder. This should now be resolved and it will remember the previously set folder even after app or device restarts. However, due to iOS Security Restrictions, if the app restarts you may be prompted to grant permission to the folder again to ensure that SavePDF is able to write to that folder. If you don't have a previously stored destination folder, it won't prompt for this. It will also remind you of what you had set previously.

IMPROVED: The popup allowing you to change the filename no longer has the .pdf extension in it by default, as it isn’t needed any longer and to make it easier to rename the file if you want. If you save it as “ScannedDoc”, the resulting filename will be “ScannedDoc.pdf”. If you typed “ScannedDoc.pdf” it will still be saved as “ScannedDoc.pdf”. If the entered filename does not end with .pdf, it will be appended. If it does have .pdf entered, it won't append it again.

IMPROVED: Made the selected destination folder field in Settings look better. It previously showed the full path which would include a lot of systems folders and UUIDs that could be confusing. It will now just show the parent and destination folder more clearly (e.g., Documents > Scans). If the parent folder is a UUID string, it will omit it completely from what is displayed, again to avoid confusion with long strings. Please keep in mind that if you are saving to another application’s folder, like Keep It, due to limitation in iOS showing only that app’s UUID, it will be omitted from what is displayed once set. So, for example, if you are saving to a folder called “Imported” in Keep It, you will only see “Imported” in the destination field.

IMPROVED: Removed the dev Build number from the Settings page as that is not relevant for users, as the Version number is what is important.

IMPROVED: General bug fixes and cleanup work.
