It’s not a long game (especially considering the app size I thought I’d get a bit more distance out of it). It’s also not overly complex, the puzzles are definitely aimed towards a younger audience. Both of these are minor niggles however because what this actually is, is an interactive novella where you get to help unit and Osgood face off against an old enemy. There’s a few nice references to some old allies too for the avid fan who wonders what Clyde is up to these days. And who wouldn’t enjoy texting Osgood about her thoughts on the Doctor. So for the money, well worth it. Just don’t expect much bafflement from what to do next from the puzzles and remember… don’t close your eyes, don’t look away and… ah you know the rest. ### 4/5 — Fun for fans *2021-08-31, version 1.13* Not the greatest adventure game, in terms of having a ton of agency or alternate paths. Filled with some great call backs and follows up the Doctor Who episode “Blink”, the game does a cool job of immersing you into a phone that you’ve found and having you problem-solve with Osgood. It doesn’t expect you to know Doctor Who and be able to fill in the blanks yourself, but instead, it treats you like you know absolutely nothing about Doctor Who and this is your introduction to the franchise. The game can be scary but is also easy. I found some people complain that the game kept crashing on them, but that never happened to me, though keep in mind that I was playing the game on an IPhone 6 so maybe the crashes were due to hardware limitations, don’t quote me on that, I might be wrong, it’s just an assumption.
