Would be 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fact that it randomly crashes and closes. BUT… Aspect ratio doesn’t fit!! *2024-12-21, version 0.14.0* I love Worlds Apart, what I’ve got to play of it that is! My only problem is… the aspect ratio doesn’t fit my device. I use an iPad and 9 times out of 10, the exit button will be inaccessible from the screen… 🥹 This means that if K9 gives me some handy tips, or if I bring up certain menus, I won’t be able to leave them without exiting the app and reopening it. Sometimes it means that it’s totally impossible to progress in the game, because a mandatory tutorial or menu can’t be closed. Please consider fixing this! The past number of days every time that I try load it up, it says that it is down for maintenance. I have waited up to fifteen minutes as I thought it may have been loading but it never did. Now I’ve lost interest as the incentives to play have become repetitive and I’m biding my time to see what the next launch is like. Plus, I seem to be playing against the same players who I win against nearly every time. It’s made me think I’m sometimes playing against bots as the opposing strategies are sometimes unusual! It asked you but u can’t get a code if you can’t find one or or host one ### 4/5 — Painfully Slow *2025-06-05, version 0.15.2* In theory, this should be one of my favourite mobile games; I love Doctor Who and I love Marvel Snap, the game this was clearly inspired by. Unfortunately the animations in this game are SO slow, to the point where matches are taking twice as long as they’d need to. As a side note, the tutorial is terrible. It tells you what to do, but doesn’t do a great job of telling you how or why you’re doing it. Yes, it’s pretty easy to intuit if you’ve played this sort of game before, but not so much if you’re new to mobile card games, or card games in general. ### 4/5 — Cool, but… *2025-02-04, version 0.15.0* Just started the game, it is very fun! But, when k-9 helps me upgrade my first card, that being the great vampire, the game glitches and doesn’t allow me to close the card inspection menu. I’ve been playing for hours here at work, fun distraction from doomscrolling. Keeps me engaged learning the cards, how to play them, strategies and great rewards.
