However, when you’ve been playing for almost a year you realize the levels repeat. Once you get to a certain point, the bosses are the same, just different colors and names. What I would do to fix it is have a fixed level count (maybe 20) and then you unlock a online pvp mode. There could be normal quick matches and tournaments with skin rewards. Could be pretty sick ### 3/5 — To much adds slow you roll *2019-12-02, version 1.20.0* as much as I play games I dislike this one the most you wanna know why because it is to much adds like I never even had adds so much in so much games that i have like can you guys fix that it doesn’t have to be that much adds in one game. Like I always play games but I am deleting this one because I literally can’t get to the next level without a add . At this point i wish adds didn’t exist . Me personally I like to play this game but can y’all fix the adds. I you can read my review please fix the adds and I will put this game back ### 3/5 — Liked the old version.... *2019-05-19, version 1.14.0* I got dodgeball duel like last year sometime and it was a great game, nice and carefree with the only thing you have to buy was skins. I like how you unlocked your special shots and other various things. I leave it for 5 months, come back, and I find you have to BUY your LEFT HAND?!?!??! wut. You also have to buy to make your hands larger while in the old version you did challenges to make them larger. Anyway, it’s still a great game, just liked it the way it was. ### 3/5 — My satisfaction and dissatisfaction *2019-03-30, version 1.12.0* So I’ve played this game before the new update and I was about to max out and I spent all my coins on cosmetics and I had all the abilities, I had everything so after that update it reset everything except my stage level I was at level 79 she was a really hard do you get coins and stuff so I had to delete the app altogether and restart and what’s the first thing you have to buy your LEFT HAND and you have to beat and a literal monster who throws bullets, that’s like asking a baby to catch a fastball. I I like this game better when the upgrades was free ### 3/5 — New update *2019-03-16, version 1.12.0* I don’t mind the new upgrade system but for higher level players who are used to having all of them you just made it impossible. I’m on level 65 and I can’t even get through the first few guys because I didn’t save any money because I was trying to get all the characters. Don’t get me wrong I still like the game but can you make it a bit easier to make money or at least give players that have beat a lot of levels a reward please? ### 3/5 — New update is stupid *2019-03-03, version 1.12.0* I’ve been playing for a while and had a lot of stuff unlocked and I rather enjoyed the game. But now that the new update is out all my power ups got reset and instead of earning them you have to pay for them? In my opinion is was better just to use the coins for the outfits and just unlock everything. ### 4/5 — Pretty good *2019-02-19, version 1.11.0* This games pretty good but however; around lv 48 i think the game gets buggy. I don’t know if this is a bug but a random purple ball showed up and it won’t go away; it attaches to the characters making them appear to be holding two balls. Whenever I kill the character with the purple ball the ball is still there and attaches to the next character. Don’t know is it’s a bug that will last forever, but it’s still a pretty good game. ### 4/5 — Very good but some glitches *2019-02-12, version 1.11.0* I think this game is very good, I unlocked all the power ups but I found a glitch were on time I was starting with the ball and I tried to throw it. U didn’t get full but I got a chance to correct my aim. I tried to throw it but I could not see the meter. I pressed the screen but nothing happened and my opponent just stayed still and the ball stayed in my hand ### 3/5 — Fun but needs improvements *2019-02-12, version 1.11.0* It is fun game but to many ads. Less ads and a local multiplayer mode and it’s super laggy sometimes. Most of my deaths were from lag. Make a hard mode called extreme mode or something after you beat level 65 it will unlock and the enemies will get better and better as you go and after like level 20 in extreme mode the enemies have a 50% chance to dodge super throws. Oh and danger sense and emergency teleport and super op. ### 4/5 — Pretty good *2019-02-08, version 1.10.0* This game is honestly pretty fun. I’ve been playing it on my off times during school and it’s pretty nice to have something to do. I like this game a lot more than other Voodoo games mainly bc of how the game is played. But there are a few things you could do to fix it up. One main thing is that the game gets EASIER as you go on which doesn’t make much sense. I’m on level 56 and it hasn’t gotten much harder. If you have a leveling system then you should also make the enemies harder to beat. It’s a really good idea and the mechanics are really fun to toy with, I just don’t think that they executed it the best that they could have. Overall a pretty fun game, would recommend. ### 4/5 — What’s next *2019-02-02, version 1.10.0* I’ve been playing for about a week and I’ve already unlocked everything I’ve got all the skins and all the power ups I would just like to know if you guys are working on more skins or something new to add to the game like two at a time or a duel online battles with two players on each team more fast pace with a little bit bigger map to acmadate to the extra players and different power ups the main mode can be like a offline option you can make the 2v2 option like a leaderboard system like who is the most wins and make it so you can have friends that you can invite to play with you that just my opinion idk but I’ve only played for a little and beat he whole game I don’t know the direction you guys are tryna go like if it’s just supposed to be a simple game bur I think you should a new element to this game or expand It that’s my feedback and thanks for a good time ### 4/5 — Decent, but could be way better *2019-01-20, version 1.9.0* It’s a good game until maybe level 15. It’s just to easy. The bosses aren’t if bosses it just feels like you’re playing the “lower” level people again. I also believe they should add local multiplayer when each phone or device is one of the screen it would be super great. Or try adding something like teams I believe that would be fun as well. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Used to be good *2019-05-14, version 1.13.0* The game used to give you free power ups for beating levels but now you have to pay for them which is kinda stupid. The thing that really ruined the game for me, and probably a lot of people, was the removal of your left hand and the nerf of the size of your hands. This is like breaking our legs before a race, it’s now really easy to get trapped in the left side and you get killed whenever that happens. The nerf of the size of your hand now makes it feel like a pixel perfect movement to catch it, with it clipping through your hand 40% of the time, it killing you 50% of the time, and you catching it 10% of the time. Honestly really went downhill, it’s now really unfair and not as fun as it used to be. ### 1/5 — Ads *2019-04-17, version 1.13.0* there is too many ads... every match and I mean every single match has at least one ad. when you have three matches for a mission and you have 6 ads while trying to learn how to play is annoying and unnecessary. I understand they need to make money but LOWER YOUR ADS. I would play and be more than happy to wait out an ad or two every 10 minutes but during and before every match? nah I'll pass and make sure to tell people not to download this unless they enjoy watching ads. ### 2/5 — Used to be good *2019-10-26, version 1.18.0* This game used to be very good, and once I unlocked every power up I stopped playing. I was excited when they came out with an update because I was hoping for more power ups I could unlock in addition to the ones I already had. Instead, they decided that they should just say I don’t have any power ups unlocked and I should just basically start over again. I still have all of the skins unlocked, but I only bought the skins because I already bought all of the power ups. They also changed a lot of the key mechanics and now I am enjoying it less would have recommended it to others before but not anymore. The only thing keeping it from a one star rating is that it used to be good and the fact that there is a possibility they could change this but I doubt it. ### 2/5 — What the hell have u done to my game! *2019-04-01, version 1.12.0* I got this game when it first came out and it only had blank colored backgrounds.i unlocked all the characters and power ups. And looked forward to all the updates, till now. I’m level 103 and you took all my power ups away and the opponent is maxed out and I have no chance! And u made this targeting thing that I don’t know how to because a new tutorial wasn’t made for the people who had already had the game. Fix it! ### 2/5 — Umm *2019-03-10, version 1.12.0* So I’ve been playing this game for a couple weeks now. I’d unlocked multiple power-ups and was devastated to see that I had to pay to gain them all back. I’m on level 53 and I’ve been able to buy all the “special” power-ups but only a few “offense” and “defense”. I don’t like the fact that there was so much a big change in the game. It is a pretty good game however, I still enjoy the concept. ### 2/5 — Update terrible *2019-03-07, version 1.12.0* I’ve had this game for months now and I unlocked all the skins and upgrades and I was super happy with it. But the update came out and now it’s terrible. You have to pay for all of the upgrades now and all my work is wasted. Im at level 73 with no upgrades and I can’t even beat a level because the opponent is way too fast. I’d at least like half of my upgrades so I could continue playing!!! ### 2/5 — Too hard after update *2019-03-05, version 1.12.0* This game was fun and easy before the recent update. I’m not going to lie, I love the new upgrade system and such. But now, before the update it didn’t have to hit the center of your hand to catch and through it. I used to basically be a god at this game until this update. I can’t beat 1 level now, and the most I get to is the boss and he easily kills me. I like the game and concept but I think the update makes the game too hard. ### 2/5 — Used to be great *2019-03-03, version 1.12.0* This game used to be so amazing, I would always love to play this. What could go wrong? I log on 2 days later to find an update came out. I didn’t read what happened in the update because I was so happy to get my hands on an updated version of the game. However, I wasn’t pleased. The game just got worse and now you have to pay for upgrades. Normally you would get them for finishing levels which I thought was a great idea. Next up is the new throwing system. When you catch the ball, you now have to plan your next shot in a matter of 0.50 seconds. This is very difficult for some players and I cannot best anymore levels with this method. Dodgeball Duel was a good game until this update (1.12.0) came along. Maybe if it gets fixed I’ll change this review. ### 2/5 — Ads *2019-01-04, version 1.9.0* There are way too many ads, so if you plan on playing this just turn off your internet. I do like the game it’s just the ads, you’ll be fighting ONE guy and an ad just pops up in the middle of it. On top of that there’s so much ads that so much builds up so it’s uncontrollably laggy. Once again just turn off the internet connection so you don’t get this problem. It also stops the developers from getting more unnecessary money ;) ### 2/5 — Great game. Ads ruin it *2018-12-28, version 1.9.0* This game is really fun. It’s split into levels with a boss battle concluding each level after defeating multiple enemies. Just for that I would have left 4-5 stars. In reality, the ads are horrifying. You’ll get ads within levels without even dying. I’ve lost so many levels because it will seriously redirect you to the App Store in the MIDDLE of a throw. I have never complained about overwhelming and frustrating ads in a game. I showed it to my friends and family and they are absolutely addicted. Next I’m gonna show it to my cousins. Also it’s up on the top 4 games on my phone and my phone has over 2 pages of games(not folders)! It’s really good and I recommend it to everyone. One thing it needs adding is tournaments. I really want to battle against other people. You should also add multiplayer. I want to be able to play with or against my friends. Also please add new bosses and special powers.
