## What is Dodo Bonk?

How far can a caveman bonk a dodo?

Dodo Bonk is prehistoric slapstick at its finest: a willing dodo, a wooden club, and the only way a flightless bird gets airborne. Two taps. One flight. One number.

HOW TO PLAY
• Tap once — the dodo hops off its nest, the caveman winds up
• Tap again — time the swing as the dodo falls
• Watch it soar, bounce, and ride geyser boosts across the valley
• Restart and beat your best

Nail the timing between 10–80 pixels above the club for a clean hit. Miss, and you get a comedy flop. Hit it right, and the dodo is off.

UPGRADE YOUR FLIGHT
Earn coins every metre and spend them on:
• Heavier Club — harder launches
• Slick Ground — more glide, less drag
• Plumper Dodo — bigger bounces
• Geyser Valley — more eruptions to ride mid-flight

One-shot powerups (Pterodactyl Strike, Boulder Drop) give a mid-air boost when you need that extra stretch.

COMPETE
Climb global and daily leaderboards. Pick a nickname, go anonymous-first — no account wall. Link devices later if you want your progress on more than one phone.

FREE TO PLAY
No ads. No energy meters. No throw limits. Optional coin packs are shortcuts only — the full game is viable without spending.

Yes, dodos and cavemen never met. That anachronism is the joke. The dodo wants to fly. Help it.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.2.5 — 2026-09-22

Swing again.
Miss the dodo and the caveman winds straight back up for another
go at the same fall. Only a dodo that reaches the ground ends the
run — so a mistimed first swing costs you the swing, not the throw.

Linking a device actually works on a phone.
Link codes and nicknames now get a proper field at the top of the
screen, clear of the keyboard instead of buried behind it.

Rating the game no longer arrives sideways.

### 1.2.3 — 2026-09-14

Fast-forward is here. Once the dodo hits the ground, tap the fast-forward
tile to skip the slow roll — same distance, same coins, far less waiting.

Six new locals line the flight path: a lizard, a beetle, a burrower, a
pteranodon, a brontosaurus, and one spectator keeping score. The snail and
the frog have retired.

Chain three or more geysers in a single run and the score sign will say so.

Also in this update:
• Smoother performance on phones
• Rotating your phone no longer re-rolls the world
