So annoying. Not to mention, there was an incident where a user stole from me, was extremely rude to me, and then left a false bad review in retaliation to mine, and when I reported it the mods immediately investigated and completely fixed the situation. Most of the community is filled with awesome fellow players that are very generous but of course you’re inevitably going to run into difficult and rude people, but whoever runs this app has it so under control that I don’t find myself worrying about it at all anymore. The only issue I’ve had is it lags sometimes - especially with messages and clicking into the boxes. As far as what other raters have said about the management, I haven’t had to deal with them so I can’t comment. But I think if you just do some bidding and giveaways and don’t get into the app too deep then you should be fine. :) ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Only shows full islands *2022-09-25, version 1.3* It is near impossible to visit an island, since all the search results show is full islands, and you don’t get many search results. Not even worth going on since it only shows full islands all the time! ### 1/5 — Very unsafe community for kids *2021-08-09, version 1.3* The adults on this app ask for pictures of children all the time. They come on your island and tell children to sign up for Kik or another similar social media and then they ask them to send horrible photos. Everypne needs to report this app as I’ve done. ### 1/5 — Banned for accidentally clicking on an auction *2021-06-19, version 1.3* I accidentally clicked on bid for one of the auctions I was looking at. Then out of nowhere I got banned for having a low reputation. I would like you to know that not everyone likes that problem. Don’t get this game it’s useless and has to many bugs! ### 1/5 — Drama, Incompetent Managing Owner, Rude Upper Staff *2021-05-16, version 1.3* Everything of what the other 1 star ratings say about the owner, staff, and community are true. DO NOT DONATE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO THIS SITE. Dodocodes has lost a huge chunk of their mature/adult community due to the owner and staff being insufferably rude/abusive, biased, and just all around terrible at moderating and updating things that NEED updating rather than WANTING to update. Took them FOREVER to put in a block user function when that should have been a basic security feature from the start, they also continuously have problems with banned scammers just creating new accounts because they don’t want to add in a feature to make it more difficult for them to come back so they tie their moderators hands by having them constantly watching and banning alt accounts of scammers and that takes up most of their time. The owner has her priorities for what her community needs all out of wack and the upper staff will defend her actions until the end. They do not take constructive criticism well at all and will tear you down and become extremely aggressive/defensive if you mention something of concern (I brought up security concerns and got crapped on for it by the head admin Nyosho) TL:DR- Save yourself the drama and abusive actions of the staff team by just using Nookazon. ### 2/5 — Constantly something wrong *2023-11-12* There is constantly something wrong keeping me from going to other peoples island. The current issue is it needs my in game name so I went to go enter it but it tells me I can only change my in game name once. I haven’t ever put in my in game name. I have had to delete the app multiple time so I can stop different issues. ### 2/5 — Report system *2022-03-09, version 1.3* Good app overall but two things, the report system is horrible. To report someone you have to get discord and join their thingy. I dont have discord and i dont know how it works 2. You can just rate anyone it doesnt matter if youve never talked to them. But a little to safe if you are under 13 you get banned I was just banned I can’t believe it. The App Store says it’s 4+ animal crossing is designed for all ages including young kids. I just turned 12 and I don’t want to wait a year just to download an app. ### 3/5 — Way too many ads *2023-07-31* It's a good app, barely any lagging whatsoever it's just the amount of ads that makes it annoying to use.
