## What is DoF plus?

DoF plus is a "must have" application for all digital camera owners.

DoF plus will answer questions like:
- how to ensure that model face will be sharp when shot at 5m?
- which focal lens I must use when shooting a person at 10m? a small bird at 50m?
- how to maximize image sharpness when shooting landscapes?

DoF plus is highly customizable:
- select your camera model. Computations will take into account camera specifications. 
- define your own list of focal lenses from a list.
- define your own list of apertures from a list.

DoF plus provides following features:

DoF (depth of field)
Set focal lens, f/stop and focus distance. Near and far focus distances will be computed automatically

HyF (hyperfocal)
Set focal lens and f/stop. Hyperfocal distance will be computed automatically.
Note: when you focus at hyperfocal distance, image will be sharp from half this distance to infinity.

FoV (field of view)
Set focal lens and focus distance. Field of view (width and height) will be computed automatically.

Bonjour. Serait-il possible de rajouter un boîtier nikon le Zf plein format.

Bonne appli en général mais il manque les valeurs de distances intermédiaires 0,5  et 1,05 m à 2,00 m et le cercle de confusion pour les différents formats

**Developer response:** Pour répondre à vos deux points:
Il est possible de créer des distances supplémentaires si la liste proposée ne vous convient pas. Jusqu’à un mètre, la précision est de 1cm (vous pouvez créer une distance de 95cm ou de 96cm par exemple). A partir de 1m jusqu’à 10m, la précision est de 10cm (vous pouvez créer une distance de 1,10m ou 1,20m. Mais pas de 1,05). A partir de 10m, la précision est de 1m (vous pouvez créer une distance de 11m ou de 12m. Mais pas de 11,50m). N’hésitez pas à nous contacter par mail si cela ne vous convient pas. Nous somme prêt à faire évoluer notre application pour couvrir les besoins.
Concernant le cercle de confusion, vous avez du voir que vous pouvez ajouter autant d’appareils que vous voulez dans votre « sac photo » virtuel. Puis pour chaque appareil vous pouvez laisser le cercle de confusion par défaut ou en choisir un qui vous convient mieux. La aussi, n’hésitez pas à nous contacter pour plus de précision.

seule reproche la liste des marques et des appareils invisibles avec le mode sombre 
une liste a jour svp

precis, rapide, en francais, parametrable, ne lui manque juste une interface moins austere, peut etre un schema pour visualiser la pdc par ex :)

et pas cher, indispensable pour tt amateur ou professionel de la photo.

et ca marche sous iOs 3.1.3 sur iTouch 1G ;)

You can trim down (or expand) the available apertures and focusing distances to make it quicker to use; select your camera model, then off you go. Separating out hyperfocal distances from the rest of the data is a dream for landscape toggers. Highly recommended.

Klasse App, die sich einfach bedienen und einstellen lässt. Man kann alles auf seinen "Objektivpark" individualisieren und auch die Distanzen editieren, um eigene Werte (cm-genau) einzugeben. Fazit: SUPER! ... und das für weniger als 80 Cent.

I was looking for something like this to help with lens selection.  It works well to predict what my working distance would be at a given FL.  I would like to see the results in feet and inches, but that's no big deal.  For .99 I can calculate that myself.
