Decent app, bugged on iPhone iOS version. *2026-05-11, version 6.5.2* The app seems to work well but it is not formatted to fit the iPhone 17display. The buttons on the top are not aligned properly so you can’t select “back” or “settings”. ### 4/5 — Life-changing results, but needs a UI update for Pro Max! *2026-03-02, version 6.5.2* I can’t thank this team enough—I’ve lost 30 lbs in 2 months using this app for my health recovery! It works wonders. However, the interface is currently a struggle on the iPhone 17 Pro Max (iOS 26.3). Many buttons are clumped too close to the screen edges or hidden near the camera slot. On such a large screen, "reachability" is an issue; I’d love to see more navigation moved toward the bottom of the screen to prevent accidental taps. Once you navigate and find the cancel button they have a pop-up that comes up asking if you want lifetime for $14.99 but the way it pops up doesn’t allow you to scroll down to continue with the cancellation. So you have to login via computer to cancel. ### 1/5 — Keeps erasing my progress *2026-07-16, version 6.5.2* I’ve had this app for a while. When it’s working, it works fine. I was constantly frustrated by the app. Every time I tried to set my fasting. Period. I could not get it to work. Finally, after about four days I gave up. There are so many better apps or you could just set an alarm on your phone. I should also add that they charged me a $66 renewal fee and I immediately asked them to reverse the charge because I don’t like or use the app and they offered 25% back. However $62.00 every 3 months for over a year with an inability to cancel this crazy thing shows this app is NOT one you want to download . There has to be something better out there . Yeah, but Self has a lot of work, the only thing that makes sense is the timer and calculating steps which you can do easily with free apps that are already on your phone. Their calorie intake is all over the place.
