It was really fun, and the app adds a whole layer to it. It’s got so many cool features, but some thing that disappointed me and my mum is that you can’t train the dog, which is what she thought it was. I was really upset, because I had only wanted it because I really want a dog, but my parents say we can’t get one. So, I thought you could train it, and it would walk by itself and you didn’t need to pull it, and that it could be a bit more realistic, especially in the sounds and movement, which looks so fake. But apart from that, this is good, but I got bored of it VERY quickly, and I don’t play with it anymore. ### 4/5 — I dont know if its with the app or the dog. *2024-12-18* I pet the dog and it barks and says I did not pet it?? Most reviews state you can use the app but it doesn’t change anything on your dog. Because the app is broken. You can choose “play without dog-e”. To use the app. But if you do that nothing changes with your dog. It will not actually connect with the dog. Just a screen with a dog picture but it never connects. Devs need to fix this. I’m about to refund it back to Amazon. You have to keep it on the floor and then it will start to connect and then everything will be unlocked just saying it works really well. If people say doesn’t work they’re probably lying or not.
