### 2/5 — Wrong!

*2026-07-10, version 2.0*

You’re better posting your dog on Facebook and asking people what it is than to ask this app.

### 4/5 — I was Trying to mess around by taking a photo of my cat

*2025-05-29, version 2.0*

My dog dose not look like a hound but she is an Australian cattle dog and my cat it said it was a husky

### 1/5 — Inaccurate

*2025-02-27, version 2.0*

Terrible response accuracy by breed

### 3/5 — One of the dogs was a American Akita, but you guys had a German Shepherd

*2025-01-13, version 2.0*

OK

### 1/5 — Dog Finder is not acquired! 👎👎

*2024-11-13, version 2.0*

Very disappointed! Not acquired at all!!

### 1/5 — Supposed to tell you what breed your dog is it doesn’t know what it’s talking about

*2024-11-11, version 2.0*

It does not show you what breed it is. It’s far from what my breed of my dog is.

### 1/5 — Boxer?

*2024-11-10, version 2.0*

Just because my dog is brindle doesn’t mean he’s a boxer. He’s actually a plot hound and a pitbull mix. Good luck guys. I wouldn’t download this one. It’s waste.

### 2/5 — Not the most accurate

*2024-09-16, version 2.0*

It’s a paid app and expected a lot more accuracy. I found it only 10% accurate. A free app called “dog scan” is 80% accurate.

### 1/5 — Vague

*2024-08-24, version 2.0*

A little vague when it provided the breed. Puppy as a breed is a little obvious

### 1/5 — Chihuahua to Great Dane to puppy

*2024-08-18, version 2.0*

Doesn’t work !
I thought so. She could be a chihuahua, Great Dane, Lab, Bulldog or puppy.

### 1/5 — 0000 Stars

*2024-08-09, version 2.0*

3 out of 3 dogs - zero percent accuracy.

### 1/5 — YUCKY AP

*2024-07-26, version 2.0*

Can’t even identify an AKC champion English Springer Spaniel - my dogs newly finished Champion professional photo! Called it a “hound” with 45% match to Cocker spaniel.
Ridiculous!

### 1/5 — Stupid

*2024-07-12, version 2.0*

This has got to be one of the most stupidest apps I have ever attempted to use. Yes I know my puppy is a puppy but that doesn’t tell me anything about the breed. Don’t waste your time downloading this app. I would give it a 0 star rating but it forces you to give it at least one

### 2/5 — Cool but...

*2024-06-15, version 2.0*

I took a picture of my 9yr old dog and she is obviously a Dauchsaund and I was wanting to know if she was anything else and the app told me that she was puppy, Chihuahua and hound which annoyed me.
Also every time I changed the angle even the slightest, it changed a whole bunch of different breeds which made it hard for me to believe that it was the truth.

### 2/5 — Wrong

*2024-05-27, version 2.0*

It called my purebred Corgi Pembroke everything from a German shepherd to a chihuahua.

### 1/5 — So much new information🙄🙄

*2024-05-19, version 2.0*

I put a photo of my white Bichon mix, and the results were “white dog,” “poodle,” and “puppy.” He’s five and is fully grown

### 2/5 — Doesn’t show type of human and is not accurate

*2024-05-10, version 2.0*

Doesn’t show type of human and is not accurate dogs including my friends seat. I regret my decision to buy this app because it’s not worth it with the information it provides you.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Wrong breeds

*2026-06-13, version 2.0*

Severely off on every breed that I scanned

### 1/5 — Useless

### 1/5 — Not right dog

*2026-04-04, version 2.0*

It’s saying it’s a Chihuahua but it’s not it’s a Papijack

### 1/5 — Super inaccurate

*2026-02-15, version 2.0*

Uploaded photos of both of our doodles. One is half Irish Setter and half Standard Poodle. It said he was half Terrier. I met both parents. There is no terrier in him. Same with our Bernedoodle. Thought she was poodle/terrier. Nope.

### 1/5 — Guess work

*2026-01-03, version 2.0*

Tried this with a pic of my dog several times and everytime it was wrong. Never suggested what type of dog it actually was.

### 1/5 — My dog

*2025-12-14, version 2.0*

I have 100% beagle and it said he is part husky and it said he is 55.2% puppy but he is 14 years old

### 1/5 — Not working

*2025-10-15, version 2.0*

Fail to recognize dog breed

### 1/5 — Very Random

*2025-10-15, version 2.0*

No accuracy whatsoever.

I was scanning my Dog and it said no dog found

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — I like the app and all.. but…

*2026-07-03, version 2.0*

The app doesn’t really work it’s not showing the right dog breed and it’s taking forever to find the right picture. The app might be cool but it doesn’t really work. That was the down side and here’s the good side is I love dogs they are my best friend. I have three so I know. But I’m glad the app was made. Because it shows he loves dogs. That is what truly makes me happy.

### 5/5 — Chihuahua

*2024-11-25, version 2.0*

You guys actually noticed that our dogs were chihuahuas you guys are the first people to notice our dogs are chihuahuas!!!!!!!!!!!

### 5/5 — ON POINT

*2024-07-20, version 2.0*

This app is on point. Took a picture of my purebred Labrador Retriever and it came up 99.9% Labrador. Took a picture of my friends unknown breed. It came up golden retriever and German Shepard. Which we all agreed was correct based on his look.

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2024-04-17*

This app is by far the best dog identifier that I have come across…many thanx

### 5/5 — Beds are 🐕🐶

### 5/5 — This app is actually very accurate

*2023-07-10, version 2.0*

It’s very accurate and if not it’s somewhat true bc I did it to be sure and it was right!

### 5/5 — Rebeccas Paws & Claws

*2023-07-06, version 2.0*

We get many displaced dogs. Dogs that have been dumped or thrown away like common trash. We vet and work with them to find new loving homes. Because we know almost nothing about them, their breed is often hard to identify. This app has really made it easy to do so.
Just a wonderful tool for anyone in the rescue arena. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
